If you are in town around Orchard and have a craving for Japanese food, look no further than the Sun with Moon restaurant!The place is spacious with comfy seats. Service is good. Ordered the Unagi and the Beef steamed rice set and the Hamburger Steak set for our mains. The steamed rice, known as Kamameshi, is one of the signature items. There was an hourglass served together whereby one should only start eating after all the sand flowed downwards. Not only did my Kamameshi look appealing, it tasted great too! It is steamed so a great choice for the health conscious. I simply love my Unagi while the Beef was equally great too! Haha one might really have some dilemma choosing between the two when ordering. On the other hand, I nipped a bit of my friend's hamburger set, it was flavorful but the meat was a tad too dry.
I highly recommend the black sesame goma pudding as the sesame taste was really rich with a soft tofu-like base. I am a fan of black sesame and so it really appeals to me. I am a huge matcha fan too so haha I could not leave the place without trying the green tea tofu cheesecake! Hmm well it was not too bad but I would prefer if the matcha taste could be stronger.
In conclusion, food is good but slightly pricey but you won't go wrong if you order their signature Kamameshi and my favourite Goma pudding lol ^^張貼
