I'm usually picky with Japanese food (not a very big fan of it), but I decided to give Tampopo a go since I was having one of my rare cravings for ramen.Ordered the Hokkaido Spicy Miso Ramen, together with the salmon sashimi - Tampopo currently has this promo which allows you to order as many servings of salmon sashimi as you like as long as you select a ramen dish from the Ramen Fair menu. The ramen was really average, but I must say the slice of meat was pretty flavourful. Nothing's really spicy when it comes to Jap cuisine, so I can't say much about the spice level. As for the salmon sashimi, it was OK, fresh, but not the best in town. Yup, it's just average Japanese food for a high price.
