One of my close friends suggested that I should try the food at Fifth season, since unlike other normal Indian restaurants in Little India, Fifth Season offers fusion food..which is a combination of Tibetan & Indian food. The concept itself of Tibetan & Indian fusion food intrigued me & made me go there to try out their food. The restaurant is a very simple one. From the outside it is not classy at all. Inside too its neat & simple. The staff were very friendly. The menu is very classy though. I
The restaurant is a very simple one. From the outside it is not classy at all. Inside too its neat & simple. The staff were very friendly. The menu is very classy though. I believe that their dish' Momo's ' is an award winning dish, however I din't try it yet. We ordered for Coriander chicken & noodles & rice (combination of noodles & fried rice in 1 dish). It was something different, so we ordered for it. The food arrived & looked great. The portions are small, but tasty. The chicken was well cooked, spicy & had a wonderful aroma of coriander. It was a dry dish. We then had the noodles, which was bland, it din't have many spices in it, yet it tasted great. There was something really special in the noodle-rice dish, which I can't explain, it was plain & simple, yet so tasty.
The only drawback is that the dishes are slightly over priced. For example 1 dish cost 15 ++ $ & the portions are not that big. But once in a while, its a nice place to dine at, especially for the concept of great Tibetan- Indian fusion food.
