Was on leave on the weekday and wanted to pamper myself with a shopping spree and enjoy high tea buffet ( juz like the rich tai-tais) i've checked the food review of great buffets and decided to check carousel out.Upon making reservation, the stuff attitude was not very good and was told to join the Q an hr later to enter the restaurant. Upon making reservation, the stuff attitude was not very good and was told to join the Q an hr later to enter the restaurant. Well, this is the 1st i ever come across hotel buffets where i need to q for so long. Well, doesn't mateer, the most disappointing part is the super lousy service.
Most of the stations were buffet style while some particular ones like steamed food and popiah has to be serve.
Was at the steamed section where i requested for shrimp dumplings to be place at the side center of my plate(where i reserved some space for the shrimp dumplings) However, the serve insist on placing at the side of the plate where i told him not enough space. He didn't bother and squeeze and push the other food on my plate juz to put the shrimp dumpling on my plate. In the end, my kueh pai tee topple over and fell out of the plate, dirty my top and the table at the steamed station. I was like "OMG" and the best thing is "THE STAFF PASSED ME SOME TOILET PAPER BY THROWING ON THE TABLE, EXPECTING ME TO CLEAR UP THE MESS! NOT EVEN A SORRY MADAM! wat the heck? all thanks to the him(act smart only) if he listened by placing the shrimp dumplings in the middle of the plate all these wouldn't happened! TOTALLY SPOIL MY GOOD MOOD!

Fried carrot cake super salty, spring roll not crispy, there's a funny smell in the oyster for the mee sua
