This restaurant is great for pork lovers! It's their specialty. Somewhat like other black pig grill restaurants, they serve fresh quality and authentic pork dishes. The Jokbal, or pig trotter in seasoned soy sauce, is light in seasoning and goes perfectly well with all the sauces available. From the friendly owner, the best part is just next to the bones, where the meat is chewy (ooooooooo~)Saeng Moksal, or pig's collar bone, is best consumed the traditional way. Saeng Moksal, or pig's collar bone, is best consumed the traditional way. With lettuce, kimchi, sauce, onions and 2 clove sliced garlic. Oh, make sure you gobble up the whole wrap if you have a mouth as big as mine!
What's korean food without KIMCHI RAMEN! Well, the actual name is Budae Jjigae, stew with kimchi, tofu and sausages.
The dish is not as spicy as it looks, just right for my liking . If you prefer a stronger flavour, do request for extra spicy soup base. But please, for my sake, try it first with the original base. What more can i say? Its my favourite dish from Oh Neul Han Jeom.
Ambience wise, the restaurant is filled with warm and soft yellow lighting. Its like the owner has chosen it on purpose. It makes every dish served looks appetising! Not to forget it's kind of romantic, every lady looks gorgeous with candle light (or yellow light LOL). Great for couples! -star star-
Did i mentioned the name of this restaurant is actually One Piece of Meat in english? Goofy, huh? I definitely had more than one piece! I'm sure you all will love it as well!
Much thanks to host Estelle Lee, and the friendly korean family, for such good chow.
Ps- For those travelling by train, exit G at Tanjong Pagar station and walk along Telok Ayer road. Just a 5 minutes walk.
