Au Chocolat is a nice place with pretty decorations and nice pictures hanging on their walls. Perfect for ladies night out.For 3 ladies, we spend almost $200 on our orders. Very expensive but worth the try. It is our first time there so pretty excited.First, we ordered their finger foods like Mushroom Bites ($14), Truffle Fries ($15) and drinks from their smoothies and teas selection.http://static3.sg.orstatic.com/UserPhoto/photopending/0/FF/0031OO60A175F8855C8F5Ec.jpgWe ladies are mushroom love

We ladies are mushroom lovers. Their mushroom bites ($14) is simply awesome. The mushrooms are cooked in that red wine sauce according to their menu but it tastes like my mum's cooking of stew chicken with mushroom and black sauce. Yummy. I just can't stop eating till my friend stopped me because another friend has not taste it. We used the bread provided on the side to dip in the sauce. Taste good. They provided another sauce which in their menu stated tomato and olive jam. That is good too with the bread. Minus point on the saltiness.

I got no comments for the fries ($15). Simply the nicest one, in my opinion. The smell of truffle oil is a must, if not it tastes just like normal fries.

This salad ($20) was picked by my friend and to me is quite average. But the thing about those slices of tuna is that they are chewy and fresh, and you won't feel nausea even by eating more of it.

You may want to try this duck confit although it tastes like KFC Original Recipe chicken. Very expensive at $27 and taste that way. The skin is sort of crispy, dry and salty. But I like it. The mashed potato on the side tends to reduce the saltiness if you have it together with the meat.

I don't like pork ribs ($35) and maybe my friends liked so they just ordered. It's kind of hard on the outside and dry on the inside. Coleslaw on the side adds point to it.

Lastly, their dessert ($18). By the time we had our Tower Cake, full till the max. Had few mouthful with the ladies. The chocolate fudge is thick and nice. Too bad, can't finish all even when it is shared.
Overall, we come again for some others in their menu.
