Aside from their famous dumplings, Kim Choo also have a variety of good tasting kueh kueh.Rempah Udang is a traditional Nyonya dessert made of glutinous rice with shrimps filling wrapped in banana leaves.The blue colouring in the rice is taken from bunga telang juice. Ingredients for this dessert is a combination of different variety of spices into paste such as lemongrass, young turmeric, dry chilli, shallots together with fresh and dried prawns and grated coconut combined with gula Melaka.Ki

Kim Choo has one of the best Rempah Udang priced at S$1.00 each.

I could taste the freshness of the rempah (ingredients fry together) wrapped with the soft glutinuous rice with a tinge of blue colouring from the flower.

Just yummy.
