Years ago, I tried Marmalade pantry and didn't like the food there. The selection was small and the food turned out really bad. Then last week, my friend and I decided to give it another chance (since it has been so many years). I ordered the Seared Scallop Linguini with tiger prawn bisque. The food is a marked improvement from my horrid first tasting, but still not fantastic. The soup tasted like slightly diluted prawn noodle broth and the seared scallop wasn't bouncy or springy like freshly se

The food is a marked improvement from my horrid first tasting, but still not fantastic. The soup tasted like slightly diluted prawn noodle broth and the seared scallop wasn't bouncy or springy like freshly seared scallop should be. Plus there was only 2 scallops. Quite a sad dish. I think the cupcakes at Marmalade Pantry are probably okay, but I won't be in a hurry to come back for the mains.
