It was my brother’s birthday and we got a cake from Breadtalk to celebrate. There had been new additions to their cake offerings and we had gotten the new flavours, the Salted Caramel Surprise cake. The cake costs $28.80. The cake is good enough for 8 – 10 people for the regular size. The cake has two layers and the exterior has also some walnuts to add on to the bite. The cake costs $28.80. The cake is good enough for 8 – 10 people for the regular size. The cake has two layers and the exterior has also some walnuts to add on to the bite. I would say the cake is quite unique tasting. The cream is flavoured with caramel and as it is quite evenly spread out, the caramel taste is not overpowering and it went really well with the slightly moist layers of cake. The cream is also not too heavy tasting and it is smooth and light, making the cake moist without being heavy. Overall, I would say this is the cake to get if you like unique flavours.
