this new kuriya jap fresh fish market took over ichiban restaurant. its still under the same group though. this has a more of a take-away concept, small stools are uncomfortable to sit on and tables are arranged close to each other making it only suitable for a quick meal. food: good quality & consistencyi love the takeaway sushi counter - it has my favourite sheared salmon with cheesy mayo topped with fish roe, unagi & egg. - see 2nd photo.bento sets are also good, you may order yakitori stick

i love the takeaway sushi counter - it has my favourite sheared salmon with cheesy mayo topped with fish roe, unagi & egg. - see 2nd photo.
bento sets are also good, you may order yakitori sticks separately to add on if you like, however it can add up to being quite costly..

staff is friendly and polite..good service
