I am doing some shopping when I notice this big jar of green jelly at Isetan Thai Food Fair, which looks much bigger than the type used in chendol. It comes with 3 juicy prawns, alot of fried bean curd pieces and topped up with chilli flakes and chopped peanuts.
It tastes a bit sweet and the noodle tends to stick together but when mixed with the chilli flakes, it becomes super spicy.
It looks good but the taste is another thing. The green worm like jelly tastes like kueh, not like chendol. I am quite disappointed in the taste and also it is not sweet enough. Very chewy in texture. I feel that the coconut milk is sweeter than the green jelly.
