I had guests coming over to my house and since it was quite a last minute notice, I decided to get a cake from Bengawan Solo to serve them. I have tried the banana cake last time, so I chose the walnut cake which costs $8.80, one dollar more expensive than the banana cake. I had a slice of the cake myself and frankly I was quite disappointed with the cake. I was expecting some walnut chunks to be within the cake, but I couldn’t taste any. I had a slice of the cake myself and frankly I was quite disappointed with the cake. I was expecting some walnut chunks to be within the cake, but I couldn’t taste any. It just tasted more like a butter cake, with no taste of the walnuts at all. I would think that the banana cake tastes so much better and it is also cheaper as well. I will probably not order this again.
