Yong Ji Penang Char Kway Teow 勇记炒粿条 is situated inside Malaysia Boleh in Jurong Point. There is always a very long queue at this stall. Estimated queuing time is at least minimum 30 mins.So I have decided to test my patience on this stall to see how great is the food to create such a long wait.It is so-called lucky for me, I have waited "only" 35mins for my Penang Char Kway Teow as many impatience customers in front of me walked off during the queue. So I have decided to test my patience on this stall to see how great is the food to create such a long wait. It is so-called lucky for me, I have waited "only" 35mins for my Penang Char Kway Teow as many impatience customers in front of me walked off during the queue. I have also found that the queue was long was not due to many people queuing but the waiting time for the food to be cooked took very long thus creating the queue. The are 2 pricing, S$4.00 for a small plate and S$6.00 for a big one. I have at last received My S$4.00 Penang Chay Kway Teow after a 35 mins wait. There were many bean sprouts and Chinese leeks in it. The big prawns are very crunchy. The overall taste is disappointing. It tasted very bland and most important there is no "wok hei". The Fried Char Kway Teow is also very oily. Wasted all my effort in queuing!
