Smoky hot while I bought it, softness proved its freshness with daily making. Ingredient wrapped inside the skin was juicy sweet, a heavy char-grilled fragrant. Red dot on top was the mark to identify its filling, one of the best selling items. $0.80 for my snack after lunch was fine, little fluffy bun. I was enjoying the delicious Char Siew Bao, decently affordable price too.

I remembered trying my parent's bowl of laksa, ended up burning my own tongue. Aside from burning my own tongue, the aromatic smell from the laksa was indescribable. Until now, the smell continue to linger in my mind whenever I see laska, be it Singapore's style or Malaysia's style. One day, my friend and I decided to head to Malaysia Boleh. I ordered chicken rice and my friend ordered this. It was exactly the same as I saw it many years ago in Malaysia, the smell and the ingredients were almost the same, about 90%. The broth colour with the noodles, totally identical. I tried a spoonful of the broth and I felt like I was back in Ipoh, beside the road tasting the noodles. It was too good to be true, believe me. If you think I am writing for a composition then you have to try it to believe it. The point is, I actually found a bowl of laska that tasted exactly like the bowl I had it in many years ago. Damn, I am going to bring my parents here to try it.

Luo Han Guo herbal tea was naturally boiled and chilled with ice, refreshing in summer afternoon. Char Kway Teow was fragrant with luxury two huge prawns given, $4.00 for one person serving. Penang Laksa was relatively smaller portion, only spoon given to scoop up the noodles. Fried stuff was decent and fresh, especially Tofu. Crispy delightful side dish with sweet sauce accompanied, the combination was priced at $6.00. Overall was a scrumptious lunch, two of us were satisfied.

This is Malaysia version of Hokkien Mee, thick noodle was used, and the noodle was stir fried in dark sauce, with lots of lard. It was very fragrant, but certainly not for the health conscious one...

Lastly, chicken rice, ordered by a friend so didn't get to try it. The chicken looks tender though.

The place was always crowded, so be prepared to wait for at least 5-10 minutes for your seat. There is no high chair provided too.

Ordered a plate of wanton noodles for $3.50. The portion was just sufficient and was not too little nor too filling. The gravy was not salty and the thin noodles had a springy texture. It was also well-cooked. The soup had a slight peppery taste which was not overpowering too. The meat was slightly tough but other than that it was alright. Orders were made quickly too.

It is so-called lucky for me, I have waited "only" 35mins for my Penang Char Kway Teow as many impatience customers in front of me walked off during the queue. I have also found that the queue was long was not due to many people queuing but the waiting time for the food to be cooked took very long thus creating the queue. The are 2 pricing, S$4.00 for a small plate and S$6.00 for a big one.

I have at last received My S$4.00 Penang Chay Kway Teow after a 35 mins wait. There were many bean sprouts and Chinese leeks in it. The big prawns are very crunchy. The overall taste is disappointing. It tasted very bland and most important there is no "wok hei". The Fried Char Kway Teow is also very oily. Wasted all my effort in queuing!

Penang Laksa was servied hot and it's a small bowl but backed with noodles. I found it interesting because there was pineapple included in the condiments.

Penang Char Kway Teow had a really long line but honestly, looking back, it wasn't really worth it. There was no ham (oysters), and it was pretty much a vegetarian char kway teow except with a couple of shrimps. For $4 and the long wait? Not worth it.

Wanton noodles were chewy and tasty. The char siu was pretty good and rather fatty. The wait was a little bit long but not as long as the char kway teow line.

Not a huge fan of KL Hokkien Mee as the noodles though dark, didn't have much taste. Also, the noodles seemed overcook and were rather soft.

The facade was a little in tribute to the old days, so I guess you're mainly there for the environment. The cleaners are really quick at cleaning the tables and helping the next customer get settled in.

Went Jurong Point with my family and decided to have a hawker fare for dinner. We went into this Malaysia Boleh kopitiam.

The prawn noodles was slightly spicy due to the soup where there was a layer of chilli oil. The soup had more pork rib flavour than prawn flavour. The noodles were Malaysia style, less yellowish taste than Singapore ones. The prawns given were quite small though generous, which was also cut into half.

The penang laksa soup was quite sourish and minty taste. There was little prawn paste and fish meat in the soup. The laksa used Bee Tai Mak instead of thick bee hoon. The bee tai mak was quite chewy and springy, it actually went well with the soup.

The Wu Xiang tasted liked our Singapore Wu Xiang. The ingredients were fried fresh and crispy after ordering. The chilli was spicy and powdery. There was also crushed peanuts in the chilli sauce. I would prefer if they added fresh parsley to make the sauce more freshing.

I've been wanting to check out the food at Malaysia Boleh since it opened during the end of 2012. The fried oyster omelette was even more disappointing as it was quite cold when we ate it. Not satisfied, we went to queue for the claypot rice, prawn mee and char kway teow as well. The prawn noodles and char kway teow were so-so as well but the claypot rice was the best out of all!

Ending off our dinner, we had a bowl of Penang chendol and I felt that the red beans were too overpowering, it basically dominated the whole bowl of chendol. I miss the authentic chendol from Malacca! I also tried the fried durian pancake and was utterly disappointed too! It was very oily and had much more flour than the durian flesh.

I was surprised to learn that there is a stall selling noodles for $2 a bowl! Yes, I had a bowl of trishaw noodles at an unbelievable price of $2. There were no ingredients in it though but the soup broth was very flavourful as I could taste dried shrimps in it (instead of the usual dried oysters) and perhaps some m.s.g. The noodles tasted like the flat hokkien noodles except that they were thick like udon. Worth a try since it is so cheap!

Fried oyster $4This dish is oily and it is not fried crispy like the Singaporean style because they put lesser tapioca flour (and fry it together with 2 eggs). Durian fritter $2. It was cold when bought but still tasted nice so I am sure when it is served hot, it will taste much better. This is worth a try but it is quite expensive for the size of it. The owner said that the durian is of good quality which justifies the price.

Had dinner here today. It was about 5:45pm, and the crowd was just starting to intensify. I ordered the $5 prawn mee soup. It came with a few slices of meat, prawn, some pork ribs and half an egg. the noodles was a mixture of rice noodles and egg noodles. Tastewise, it was excellent! the soup was robust and flavorful, the portion is reasonable to justify it's price in a shopping centre. Will definitely be back again!P.S. the soup can be refilled for free.
