We had a gifts exchange session yearly before Christmas Eve in one of the departments and for this year, every participants get to enjoyed the coffee log cake with walnuts from Bengawan Solo. The log cake was coated with light brown flavours of coffee topped with walnuts as well as some ribbons which wrote "Merry christmas ". Bought this cake a day before Mother's day, and there is another similar cake with an extra chocolate heart that says " Happy mother day". and it cost 3 dollars extra. :/ I sure wont be getting that. My uncle bought me the chicken floss bread from this Bengawan solo for my breakfast. The outlook of this bread may look simple but once i taste it, I am really impressed on its good taste. The generous amount of chicken floss topped on it are very soft in texture and fragant and sweet. The bread texture is quite firm and goes well with the chicken floss. Price is reasonable and from what I know from my uncle, the service staffs are also quite friendly too.

It was our firend's daughters birthday party & we were invited. So My friend asked me to pick up the cake they had ordered for from Bengawan solo at Clementi Mall. I love these little mini ondeh ondehs. When I have the craving for these mini snacks, I will get it from Bengawan Solo since the kueh stalls at hawker centres usually sell the large ones. I usually pop one into my mouth so that I don't waste the guala melaka that seeps out as I bite into the skin of the ondeh ondeh. Simply yummy.

my mummy and I went shopping and we got really hungry so we decided to look for some snacks. After walking around, we finally settled for bengawan solo. They have so many delicious kueh tempting us. We decided to take the ready packed kueh. Inside each box, there was the lapis sagu and kueh salat. The lapis sagu was so chewy, there were different colour at each layer making it look very appealing. The kueh is not too sweet as well.My mum prefers the kueh salat. bengawan solo cakes and pastries are not bad especially their fruit cakes, they always look so attractive. the peranakan pastries, those kueh are nice too but tend to be too sweet for my liking. the store also sell egg rolls during chinese new year but the taste is just average, not as good as their other products

Being a huge fan of kuehs since young, I couldn't resist dropping by Bengawan Solo as I walked by it today. After deliberating for the longest time ever, I ended up buying Ma Ko Kueh as they didn't have any more Ondeh Ondeh left. I felt that the Ma Ko Kueh this time around was a little harder than usual and hence, I didn't enjoy it as much as I usually do. Once I microwaved it for a few seconds however, it was much softer and more to my liking

I wanted to try something new, thus i decided to get the egg tart and I instantly fell in love with it. It was very sweet, and the crust was not too soft, just the way I like it. It was also not overdone. The centre part is also very moist. I would definitely recommend this tart.

This is one of my favorite kueh since childhood. I like to eat it layer by layer as a child, and I still do it now. The only difference is the huge price increase. The kueh is very fragrant with the coconut milk and I like the soft and chewy texture. It is slightly sweet, but it is a nice snack if you do not eat too many at one go. The service is good, as they patiently waited for me to choose the kueh and offered to put them in a plastic box as I ordered quite a few.
