Polar Puff was having a Nets Flashpay promotion where you can get a free sugar roll with $3.00 purchase so I decided to get some of their pastries for myself and to share with the family. This was my colleague surprise cake from us...The design is very cute! As for the cake, it's too sweet and hard but definitely a convenient and pleasant cake to surprise one's birthday. Pies sold at Polar are also delicious and flavorful, especially their chicken pie, filled with tasty chicken filling, the chicken pies are a must try and their sweet pastries like sugar rolls.

I always think one of the better chicken pie found here but the standard has since dropped a little. The filling in the pie is quite little. See my picture. It would taste even nicer if they are more generous with the filling in the pie like chunks of chicken meat. I hardly taste any chicken in the pie. The crust still tasted fluffy and light. Nice to have it with coffee.

I was attracted by the criss cross design for their apply tarts and decided to buy it for my colleagues to try. Unfortunately these apple tarts are not towards our likings. Firstly it is abit too sweet for the apple cubes fillings and the sticky sauce in it is also not really that tasty. The pastry crusts are also not really that crunchy and also quite plain in flavour. Even though the price is quite reasonable, but still because the taste of it does not suit me, I will not be back again to

polar puffs are one of my favourites. costing from 1.20 - 1.60. its cheap and tastypastry can be a little thick but flavour is good - curry is spicy and fillings are generous with egg slices , peas, and potato chunks in it are huge.they have a few variety, including vegetarian puffs staff was a little nonchalant , had to call her a few times before she came to serve me.

I came across polar puff and pastries and decided to buy a sausage roll. But I guess I came a little too late and they were having some pastries promotion where the more you buy the cheaper it is, so what was left was some chicken pie and a tuna puff and some other pastries. I did not have much choices so I settled for their chicken pie.

Its a small piece of chocolate cake suitable for 1person t 2person but she cut into small pieces for us to try. The whole cake including the cream is chocolate favor but one thing i like about this cake is its not creamy suitable for people who is on diet and dont like creamy cakes. i love the tuna puff from polar. The puff itself is really huge. Although it cost $2.10 but it was totally worth it. their tuna is really a lot, and it oozes out at every bite. I love their pastry. It makes you wanna keep eating. It is just so fragrant and very buttery. The pastry is very crispy and flakes off easily. One tuna puff is enough to make me feel so full. An excellent afternoon snack!

I was at Causeway Point at night with my parents shopping at Cold Storage, and as I was feeling abit hungry, I decided to get a Chicken Pie from Polar. Their chicken pies were my favourite, though i buy them once in a blue moon as i felt the price was abit on the high side (though most pastries are about these prices). My sister ordered this particular cake for her son on his 4th Birthday. He is a super fan of Thomas and Friends. The boy was delighted when this cake was presented to him. I was a little skeptical as this cake might be too good to look at but the taste itself might not matched up to its look.
