i like this branch siam kitchen, the service is good and the food gets serve pretty quickly. Upon sitting down, the staff will serve you a basket of koropok, but before you can finish half of the basket of koropok, the food gets serve. I notice most of the tables, the people do not finish more than half of the koropok. Maybe they can consider serving slightly lesser. I like their sambal kang kong. The kang kong is very crunchy, it is not too spicy as well. goes really well with rice and the port

buffet at siam kitchen!Normally those buffet I went is self service with wide choice of dishes / order from menu and they will serve you whatever you want. This one is a little different , since their menu is average of variety , they will served everything from the MENU at one go. Thus, overall i will definitely patronize siam kitchen again because of their mango drink and the good customer services !

I went to siam kitchen for dinner with my hubby. We ordered a phad thai each and a bowl of tom yum seafood soup. the tom yum soup was packed with a lot of seafood. The seafood were really fresh as well. the soup is the one with red chilli oil floating on top, not the clear kind. It was actually pretty spicy. But when we eat it with our phad thai it was just alright. The phad thai was really good. the kway teow was the thin kind, very chewy. the food at siam kitchen is really good.

i went to siam kitchen for dinner. The food they served at siam kitchen is more of thai food. I ordered the soft shell crab appetizer, it was so good, the soft shell crab was big and juicy. the crab they used is really huge, you can actually see the pincers as well. They served it with this mayo, the mayo was supposed to be a little spicy but it was not at all spicy, the mayo made the soft shell crab taste nicer. the soft shell crab despite being deep fried was not oily at all. I was feeling really hungry and everywhere there is super long queues, so my sis and mum suggested we try siam kitchen since the queue was not that long and my sis had not try this place before. I ordered their green curry chicken. It was so good. the green curry gravy was really very thick. The chicken was tender. It was not too spicy as well. It goes really well with the fragrant white rice. one word to describe it, shiok!

Upon entering the restaurant, we were served prawn crackers. It costs around $3 per plate and abit salty but crunchy. The tom yam soup were generous with mushroom, prawns, sotong and a few pieces of sliced fish. It has the right amount of spiciness and saltiness. But i hope their tom yam soup can be more spicy. My friend ate the beef noodles but it was very dissappointing dish. It was the first time we tried this dish but the soup was way too salty for us and we felt a waste of money to order t

It was the first time we tried this dish but the soup was way too salty for us and we felt a waste of money to order this dish as we felt like eating salt. Although it comes with beef meat ball and sliced beef, it tasted worse then the beef noodles at hawker centre. When we confronted the waitress, she said this dish is supposed to be like this. So rude. We only ate half bowl of the beef noodles only and will not order again next time. The pineapple rice was well presented with garnishes like red chilli, lime and cashew nuts. It was better than the beef noodles. For dessert, we shared the Thai red ruby. The ruby taste like small jelly. We ordered too much for 2 person and left feeling very full.

I heard of this restaurant from my friends since it is like similar ot Bali Thai has similar food like malay or indonesian variety. The price is whopping expensive to treat a family when you just had your first pay and the food dishes isn't that big but there is many. I didn't like the dishes in the buffet set also cause one thing it is small, and the other is that the small dishes I like are only a few.But I did go home full but I don't think it is worth the price for 3 a dinner estimated about

But I did go home full but I don't think it is worth the price for 3 a dinner estimated about $100. I planned it to be special but it didn't feel special. And the staff didn't seem friendly maybe because it was busy or the peak hour.

I won't recommend this restaurant also Balithai because the quality of food at normal food centres are still nice, the difference is just the classy chairs and tables and service.

This time we were back just for some thai desserts.

Too bad the Durian Sticky Rice ran out!!
Hence ordered Red Ruby instead.

I must say this is the ugliest red ruby I have ever seen.
The big, red "rubies" filled all over the top and on top is just 5 strands of jackfruit flesh.
5 strands!! I nearly wanted to ask them if its the chef's blonde hair.

Anyway even though its ugly, its taste is sweet and tasty.
The big, fat "rubies" are churchy on the inside and soft on the outside.
As for the "hair" did not make much of a difference.

I will be back for the Durian Sticky Rice one day

The search for the best Thai food in SG continues.

We ordered
1) Seafood Tom Yam (S$7.50)
2) Chicken Wings (S$7.50)
3) Kang Kong (S$6.90)

The Tom Yam is more spicy than sour but the the seafood is fresh even though there are only 3 prawns

The Chicken wings are tasty and also goes very well with the sweet-sour sauce. 24 pcs a plate is more than enough for both of us.

The Kang Kong came in a mountain on a plate. It is very spicy and tasty. Got to go with rice to reduce the spice level

Verdict: My vote still goes to Thai Accent..
