As part of a Korean-themed special, The Soup Spoon launched a range of Korean-inspired soup receipes.I tried out the Tteokguk My Version, which is The Soup Spoon's in-house version of the traditional tteokguk. Lunch at The Soup Spoon always make me feel satisfying and healthy. Bought the chicken with mushroom wrap and also the simon & Garfunkel soup. For less than $15, is value for money. Soup is filled with generous amount of tomato, carrots, onion and vegetables which are very nutritional. THe soup texture is thick and creamy. Whenever I'm in need of some good comfort food, The Soup Spoon is never far from my thoughts. I have been a regular customer of theirs ever since I discovered it a few years back, and love going there to chill and enjoy a bowl of soup with my friends. The soups, while chunky and more 'western', give a certain sense of warmth and comfort-especially my favorite, the Simon and Garfunkel Chicken and Mushroom ragout. It's filling with its bounty of chicken, mushroom and carrot, yet not overwhelming.

I think I'm in love with their mushroom soups...Their soup has a calories state in assuring that they are all nutritious and filling enough to satisfy even the hungriest of patron and dipped together with their complimentary soft bun into the soup...Their sandwiches are alright and their Ice Lemon Tea, Not too sweet, giving me a refreshing feeling...A definite must try!!
