Yomenya Goemon has a wide variety of food available ranging from Japanese to Western! Tried the carbonara with cream sauce this time round and it was not that creamy but still good because you won’t get sick of the taste easily! I also tried the mocha with ice cream and both matches well together so it tasted great! Service is a little slow though perhaps because it is on a weekend.

Located in a deserted corner at 313 Somerset, you wouldn't even know this restaurant exists unless you happen to be looking for it. The portions here are huge and the Yakitori Chicken pasta I ordered is cooked al dente and came out just nice. I especially liked the flakes of seaweed on top too!The lunch set I ordered also came with a serving of Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Ice Cream! The lunch set I ordered also came with a serving of Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Ice Cream! The cake was served warm with a scoop of chocolate ice cream on top and strawberries. The cake was rich and moist, just the way I like it. Will definitely want to try out their other pasta dishes on my next visit here!

I order a dessert set which cost $21.50 and it came with a salad, soup, choice of drink, main dish and a dessert. The salad tasted extremely refreshing and it really did open up my appetite. The pieces of bacon gives the salad a slight salty taste and makes u coming for more. This dish is called meat sauce carbonara. The meat sauce was tasted heavenly, i didnt feel sick after a few spoonful but kept wanting for more. The spaghetti was smooth and springing, it was a really good dish! The dessert t

The dessert tasted normal, the icecream melted fast and the cake was moisty but could have been more chocolaty.

This smoked chicken meat from this Japanese restaurant has not much flavour to it except the strong cheesy taste from the 4 different types of cheese use in making this dish. The first impression when the waiter serves me this dish I was full of hope and high expectation to it as the presentation looks pretty awesome and creative. However think I am just not too use to mixing a total raw egg to a cooked dish. The taste of this mixture is quite confused and not distinctive at all. Though the noodles are quite chewy and nice and the bacon used in cooking this dish is also fresh and juicy. Think the raw egg may be the spoiler for this 'look so good' dish. Or perhap

Yomenya Goemon gives you great variety of pastas with fresh ingredients at affordable value. Pastas average at SGD 12.90 with very generous servings. I had the Napolitano Pasta with Mozzarella and Sausage which was very enjoyable. Service is also very quick and efficient, so it's perfect for the lunch crowd at Raffles area. Seriously I don’t think it is nice to mix Italian food with Japanese style etc., eating pasta with chopsticks. This doesn’t blend it well.

was shopping at 313 and saw no queue at yomenya so went inside to have an early dinner. i ordered the cold pasta to try since i had quite a nice experience with cold ramen so i assume cold pasta should be something similar. the first taste was not too bad, actually tasted kind of creamy and somewhat like pasta salad. but as you eat more then will feel too creamy due to the mayonnaise sauce

personally i am not into fusion food cause i normally find them tasted weird but the display of this restaurant looked not bad so decided to give it a shot. i ordered the hokkaido cream soup spagetti to try and it looked quite nice when it was served. i think the taste was something like carbonara but then less creamy which reminded me of the cream udon that i like from waraku. the portion of spagetti was also quite generous for just regular size and i think is value for money

A outlet that is not difficult to spot, you’d be blind to have difficulty finding it. Just a few tables, the restaurant gives a rather homely feeling. Japanese styled over the kitchen counter seats on high chairs were available too. The plate of tomato sauce vongole rosso I ordered was very very good. The tomato sauce based soup was very creamy for soup and the ingredients fresh! Too bad there is no way for a refill of soup

This is my second time at this Japanese pasta restaurant. Perhaps it's because we went there early about 6pm, there was no queue and it was not as crowded as the first time when I visited it on a Friday night. Hence my friend and I did not have to sit right inside. The Standard Chartered credit card promotion was still available, although the set meal is now $1++ more expensive than the last time I was there.

Anyhow, this time I picked the Hokkaido Cheese Cream Soup Spaghetti with Scallop, Corn & Potato as it sounded interesting, given that I had never tried a soup spaghetti before.

When I was served my spaghetti, I was a bit shocked as I could hardly see my soup. But upon scooping up some of the spaghetti I realised that it was because the bowl was quite deep and actually the amount of soup was just right. I shouldn't be expecting my usual fishball soup style!
However I must say that the first few bites of my spaghetti were a bit too tough. Probably the spaghetti had to be soaked in the soup for a longer period of time, because it didn't taste as hard as the first few bites by then.

I enjoyed this pasta set meal very much as I was very full and satisfied at the end of my meal. In addition, this time round, as we were seated at the first section of the restaurant after the entrance, the ventilation was much better and we could easily get the attention of the waiters.

Both the pasta (Olive oil squid Ink & Soup based bacon pasta) which I have ordered are equally tasty! However, I feel that the chef can be more generous with the ingredients, especially for the squid ink pasta. There are only 5 small pieces of squids. The price of the pasta is approximately $13. You can top up to $18.50 to get an additional salad and drink, which I will NOT recommend one to do so as I find that it is not worth paying additional $5.50 for small bowl of salad (not that the salad

There was a Standard Charted credit card promotion set available at $15++ which consisted of a soup, salad, spaghetti & drink of my choice. I picked the Tomato Carbonara as it seemed special, given that I have always eaten either creamy or tomato based spaghetti, but never 2 different sauce bases mixed together.

The 2 different sauce bases mixed well together!
I had wanted to control my diet by not eating too much after 8pm but it was really yummy! Anyhow I tried my best & the spaghetti portion was too big for me such that there was some leftover though I tried my best. The salad was great too, made with wafu sauce (I think). Oh a special note to mention here, is that we were given chopsticks to eat our spaghetti, truly Japanese style.

Nonetheless, I had one grouse for the restaurant. The ventilation was very bad! We were actually seated near an aircon vent but I couldn't really feel the cool air at all. In addition as we were right inside the restaurant, it was pretty hard to get the waiters' attention. Otherwise the dinner here would have been much more pleasant, as I think my dinner was good value-for-money.

We went to Yomenya Goemon located at Somerset 313 for lunch. The restaurant is fairly new as it was opened recently. They serve both dry and soup pastas. Soup pastas equal to pasta with more sauce. I ordered the tomato base dry pasta with eggplant and squids. It tasted great as the spaghetti was well cooked and the ingredients well marinated with the gravy.
