Bought a packet of specialty duck rice at $4 from Yu Kee stall. This duck rice consists of rice, duck meat, half an egg, beancurd and peanuts. Its rice is fragrant and drenched with the sauce. The duck is tender and tasted quite nice too When eaten together with the chili, it is really delicious!

I had a bowl of Handmade duck noodles or $3.80. The price is reasonable for the portion. The duck meat was thinly sliced so there were not much kick in eating it but they were very tender and was soaked well in the gravy. The noodles were thin and had a good texture too. The soup had a slight herbal taste and was quite nice and rich. If you love duck noodles, try this out

Ordered a bowl of duck noodles for $3.80. The noodles were handmade and they were rather nice and springy. The sauce was a good compliment to go with the noodles. The duck meat (stewed) were flavourful and tender but the pieces were quite small. The shortcoming is that they are rather stingy with the duck meat. Nevertheless, it is still worth a try but not a must try.

Well known for its duck rice is their specialty stew sauce.

I wanted something light for the night and decided to order the kway chap set instead of the duck rice set. Love the herbal soup that the kway are all in. The bowl comes with some spring onions on top as garnishing and soup base is not too oily and herbal smell are of right amount.

The organs are well braised and contain little or no intestine smell. It is served with pork belly meat, fish cakes, and all those that you can get from a normal kway chap stall. Sauce are not overly gluey and it tastes just right.

Service
Service are fast and good.

Ambience
Since it is located in koufu food court, I took some time in securing a seat. Crowded environment and seatings are issue.

Price
Pricing matches the portion and is quite standard for Yu Kee's outlet. Reasonably affordable.

Recommendation / Tips
If you want the best of both world, you can order your kway chap with duck meat too.

i took away the braised duck rice from the duck rice stall at west mall. The rice was really delicious, it was very fragrant and had this strong yam taste. The duck was sliced pretty thinly, its meat is just so tender. I think that their gravy is really good, very tasty, not too salty, it kind of brought out the fragrance of the rice and duck. The tau pok was very juicy, I liked the braised sauce it is cooked in.

I really like the braised duck rice from yu kee. So when I happened to pass by west mall and saw the yu kee, I knew I had to da bao back home for dinner. The rice is so fragrant, it is not the normal white rice, it is actually yam rice if I am not wrong. The duck is sliced pretty thinly, it is so smooth and tender. I hate those duck which are just so tough and chewy. they also added in tau gua and braised peanuts into the bowl. Finally they topped it off with their braised gravy. The braised gra

I ordered the Yu Kee duck rice set for my dinner. Yu Kee is quite a famous brand name. If I am not wrong, there are a few outlets of Yu Kee in Singapore besides west mall. I thought that with the gravy, the rice will be too salty since the rice is already braised with the duck sauce. The braised firm tofu is also quite delicious with the gravy. However, I find myself quite thirsty after my meal, so it is best to drink more water after eating this.

I ordered a plate of duck rice which costs me $3.50. I asked them not to put the gravy over my rice since I wanted something more plain and I am afraid the gravy would be too salty for my taste. The duck rice comes with half a braised egg, tau kwa and some braised peanuts in addition to the duck. I love the peanuts as it is not too soft or hard and the peanuts managed to absorb the flavours of the gravy. The duck is also quite alright - not too dry even though I did not put any gravy on it. i tried the signature duck rice set from yu kee duck rice at west mall koufu. This is one of the nicest duck rice I tasted in a while though it is a little pricey. I ate yu kee signature duck rice set at other places, it only cost me 3 plus dollars. But here, the duck rice is $4. However, I feel that it is worth it’s price. The duck is very smooth and tender, quite a few pieces too. the gravy they add on the rice is not a lot but it is really good, very tasty and thick. There is also half an egg

Been a while since i had duck rice, i pass by Yu Kee Duck Rice Kway Chap stall and decided to order their duck rice set meal. The set mail comes with duck meat, braised egg, peanuts and toufu. The rice looks nice but not fragrant enough. The half braised egg not braised long enough, only got color but not much braise taste. Peanut and duck meat tasted average.

Most of the time I only eat duck kway teow from Yukee because other stalls just do not offer duck kway teow as yummy as Yukee. So, when I was at Koufu I was so delighted to see a Yukee branch there. I know usually people eat Kway Chap with the kway. But this time round i decided to go for a change and order the rice. The kway chap is okay, portion just nice. The soup has a light herbal taste which i like. Other than their kway Chap, i like their speciality duck rice( with tofu, braised egg and braised peanuts) Their duck meat is tender and lean, stew sauce is good.Definitely worth the price.
