OChacha Smile Dec 29, 2010

This is the place to visit if you would like to experience authentic Japanese matcha tea at a good price. My order of the day was Ochacha rocks, which is one of the most popular drink there. It is simply iced matcha tea. There is another version with milk too.
The tea is very aromatic and quite thick yet very smooth. It has a natural sweetness which i liked, very refreshing. There is some bubble froth on top too. They also offer green tea porridge, chasoba, and some other noodles set.Good to try if you are nearby.

i am a fan of their natural great tasting ice creams, but never tried their smoothies before, hence i decided to try it one hot afternoon.
My order was for mango smoothie. It is very well blended, the drink is very smooth and addictive.
It tasted very natural, i feel as if i am drinking real mango. It wasnt overly or artificially sweet at all.It is a cooling great drink for hot afternoons.

Carrot Cake Smile Dec 29, 2010

Chomp chomp carrot cake has moved to Angmokio not too long ago, for about a year.If you want to visit them, please go early, as they close at about 3pm or earlier.
The carrot cake are cut into longer rectangular pieces as compared to usual ones. There is quite a big portion of eggs, and i like the spring onions which topped the flavour, making the dish a more fragrant one. There are crispy bits of caipok in it too.I would love the dish more if they can add in more caipok. The dish is not oily, abit crispy and taste very good.

Indonesian bbq chicken rice set Smile Dec 29, 2010

Categories : Indonesian | Food Court | BBQ

This stall is perhaps the most popular stall here at this foodcourt, its always a long queue when i pass by.
The chicken thigh is really big and the set comes with an egg, chicken thigh, rice and a bowl of soup.
The bowl of soup does not comes with any ingredients, no vegetables at all, it tasted alright.
I really like their chilli where you can actually taste the onions and ikan billis bits.
I always request for extra curry gravy and black sauce to go along with my chicken as they taste good when mixed together.
The rice is coconut rice and is really aromatic and taste great.
The only bad point is that their price is constantly increasing. It used to be about $4.40 for a set of grilled chicken rice combo, but now the price is has increased to about $5.20.

wanton noodle Smile Dec 29, 2010

I always patronise Choo Chiang to satisfy my cravings for wanton noodles, they are near tpy central and is near to the bus interchange. The noodles is not soggy at all, they cooked it just right.I really like their roasted charsiew, very nicely flavoured with a bit of charred part. The wanton inside, when paired together with the noodle, tasted really good.I like their sambal chilli and green chilli to go along with my wanton noodle.
