8Tarts n Pastries (Closed)

Last month I had some work in Suntec City mall hence had gone there. I went there after work & was really hungry, so as soon as I reached i decided to grab a bite. I spotted 8 Tarts & pastries so just headed there & the chicken mushroon puffs really caught my attention, so i bought one. The puff is really crispy & crunchy from the outside & the filling was awesome inside too. I am a great mushroom fan so loved it. it was a creamy chicken & mushroom filling seasoned with black pepper. Yummy filli

I got some of these char siew pastries to share with my mother. These pastries have got a light flaky crust but little buttery taste. The filling consists of mainly juicy minced char siew. This tasty char siew filling complemented well with the crust. It was topped with sesame seeds for decoration purpose. It goes better with plain coffee without milk and sugar.

There are quite a wide range of bean paste pastries which I can find here, which my grand mother loves to eat it with her friends. I will normally buy a box of six for her to share with her friends and they usually love to eat it with a cup of their hot chinese tea. The pastries are all quite crispy for their crusts and the different types of bean paste, which include red bean, salt bean and green bean are equally delicious! Simply delicious!

One day,as I was passing by 8 tart, the smell of the tarts was so tempting,that i decided to buy an egg tart. I picked a plain & a chocolate egg tart. Since I've eaten egg tarts in Macau,I expected these to taste similar,but I was really disappointed. They didn't taste good at all,that I threw it away aftet having the first 2 bites.
