Given the convenience to grab a packet of ah ballings from the supermarket, I seldom buy them from such stall but it just happened that this stall has its history spoken since 1947 and was one of my childhood spot.

Besides that, I can never boiled such grade of peanut soup at home using the preserved canned peanuts. Higher grades of peanuts were used in the soup and were larger in terms of their size with hints of pandan fragrance.

Sweet tasting roasted peanut filling encased in the glutinous rice balls. Semi sweet with fragrant from the sesame seeds used, it was comparatively good! In fact, given a preference, I would like this to the black sesame filling.

Do make sure you leave some stomach room after your meal in Golden Mile Food Centre.

I love their peanut soup with the tang yuan, they used higher grade peanuts i think, the soup is very fragrant with the tang yuan, the all-time favourite for us. the peanuts are cooked to well done, not easy to cook until so fragrant and with correct level of sweetness, tang yuan size is just good for the peanut soup, taste nice too. will go back eat again , for the price of $1.70, it is cheap and good.

Traditional desserts like these are hard to find nowadays so I will always order it whenever I come across a stall selling it. The tang yuan is served with peanuts soup $2. There is a choice of tang yuan, they have different flavlours like peanut, sesame, yam, green tea and red bean. I ordered a mix of all their flavours and it is a delight biting into each tang yuan and tasting five different fillings. The tang yuan is quite normal, but the star had to be the peanuts soup as it is their unique

The soup is not too sweet so overall, the dessert is very enjoyable. I definitely preferred this than the dessert that my hubby ordered from another stall.

I really like the nice mix of filling in tung yuen . Simple and humble bowl. I order the one with the ginger soup although they were selling with the peanut soup. I saw the auntie after washing the peanut took the trouble to remove the brown skin so that it looks better when cooking the peanut in the big pot. $2.00 for a bowl of 5 pieces of tung yuen is cheap even the housing estate you will not be able to find it.

Really love the humble bowl of peanut soup and dumplings served here. The peanut soup isn't too sweet and it's filled with bits of soft cooked peanut pieces floating in the soup. The ball dumplings were excellent- the flour dough was soft and chewy and I bought a variety of flavours (you can pick and choose!) like peanut, sesame and red bean. I love how fragrant the peanut and sesame fillings were, and each bite of filling with the chewy skin together with peanut soup is truly ecstasy!

I'm a fan of Ah Balling's peanut soup. I love their soft, well cooked peanuts plus the sweet, delicious and fragrant soup. I can drink it on and on and not feel full or bad about my body's sugar level. Hehehe...For the glutinous rice balls, they have Black Sesame, Peanut, Red Bean, Yam Paste and Green Tea. Frankly speaking, glutinous rice balls that are equally tasty can be bought in local wet markets or supermarkets too. Tried all the flavors but I will stick to peanut and red bean, frankly spe

The skin was a nice thin layer with a generous amount of filling in each ball. The peanuts in the peanuts soup were soft in texture and the soup itself was just right in the sweetness level.

We enjoyed it.

Shared a bowl of green tea ah balling with my friends today. Surprisingly, the glutinous rice ball with green tea tasted very very nice! The green tea paste is not very concentrated but smooth in texture and aroma. The soup was normal, nothing to shout about. Definitely coming back again for the green tea balls.

Ah Balling peanut with glutinous rice ball. It is really fragrant and delicious. Not too sweet, just nice! For the glutinous rice ball, there are a few flavours namely, sesame, peanut, yam and red bean. I mixed and match all of them to test. Overall, i still prefer their sesame and peanut ones. Too bad they only have hot dessert. Still, it's nice
