Was around at Cuppage Plaza for lunch. Saw the place selling Ipoh food. Trying to see if their food is the same as Ipoh. Order their Ipoh Bean Sprout Chicken Rice. As there wasn't much people inside the shop. The food came fast.Hmm....First taste of the rice. Can't really smell the fragrant of the rice. But it was okay and you won't have too much msg inside you.Next the chicken meat. Okay taste. Not too much oil on the chicken meat.Like the few pieces of chille vegi by the side. That vegi pass

Next the chicken meat. Okay taste. Not too much oil on the chicken meat.
Like the few pieces of chille vegi by the side. That vegi pass my taste test.
Soup is normal.
Coffee. Normal also.

Have been Ipoh for many many time. Still can't find a place that sell Ipoh food.

it was raining, so colleague and i decided to have our lunch here since the pictures of the food looks nice! decided to try their ipoh curry chicken noodles (dry), the noodles seems to be fried noodles in dark soya sauce with chicken and potatoes.the chicken is very tender and not dry at all! but to my astonishment, the potatoes are very hard, no difference from uncooked potatoes eventually, didn't eat the potatoes. i'm not a sweet tooth, therefore i find that their home made barley is far too

the noodles is $4.30 and the barley is $1.20. Don't really find it nice.

Went to cuppage for lunch, so long didn’t visit the Ipoh café, decided to settle our lunch here. I ordered the Ipoh bean sprout chicken rice. It is quite disappointing with the chicken rice. The chicken rice is too soft and didn’t have the chicken fragrant smell. The portion is alright however, pricing average. However, I think I do deserve better food around the area. As a chili lover, I can take my own portion of chili, took 3 different chilies from the counter. Guess the lunch should be okay

This place sells Penang and Ipoh delicacies, like Ipoh Curry Chicken Rice, Ipoh Hor Fun, and Penang laksa. I had their Shrimp Dumpling Noodle Soup. I find the noodle cook too long and thus not that good. The dumpling is ok. The place is quite crowded during lunch time, so may have to wait a while for a seats.

I have always been a fan of assam laksa and fewer and fewer places in Singapore serves assam laksa. The assam laksa and ipoh horfun here in Angel Kitchen taste really similar to those that i had in Malaysia. The portion is big and price is really affordable for under $6 at a cafe like this in Orchard area. There is no GST too.The assam laksa taste really addictive, especially the soup base.It is a flavoursome mixture of sour, salty, and spicyness, which leaves you wanting for more.I can easily finis

I really love the crunchy cucumber and onions that goes very well with the udon-like noodle. The noodle is springy and not soggy or hard. This is my must-visit each time i am around the area.
