There is no sign board at the shop, which is located at the second level, next to a Taiwanese café. The staffs are busy baking in the kitchen, so it is quite awhile before someone notices me. Not much varieties on the display shelf, the staffs are busy making for big orders. Only cash payment is accepted here.Sea Salt croissant ($2.50/orignal)Sea Salt croissant ($2.50/squid ink)Available in plain and squid ink flavours. Looks a small tower, very cute. Available in plain and squid ink flavours. Looks a small tower, very cute. Tastes quite light with bit of sea salt aftertaste. Almond croissant ($4.00)
Quite a big piece, that I could not finish half of it. There is lots of almond slices on top of it. Very tasty with the almond slices and soft and sweet with almond paste inside. Canele ($3.00)
At first glance it looks like something that is burnt. A first mouthful, it tastes of caramelized sugar. Inside it is moist and soft. Kind of reminds me some kind of kueh. There is a rum aftertaste which I like. Too bad it is such a small piece. Should have bought more.
Overall the breads are quite tasty but the location is abit out of the way. Maybe when the downtown line in front of the building is open, it will be easier to reach.
