I was craving for some rice cakes and saw that they had it here so I decided to try it out! There were 12 pieces of rice cakes in the small serving which was reasonable for the price of $3.50. The rice cakes were chewy and were not soft but did not have that rubbery texture. The sauce was sweet and spicy, with a thick and even consistency without any starchy lumps. The taste was also quite rich. It may not be the best rice cakes I had but they were acceptable.

Lunch was korean fare at the food court. The Yuk gae jung chicken ($6) is basically spicy soup with assorted ingredients such as chicken, vegetables such as beansprouts.etc, and egg. It looked spicy but did not taste spicy. The taste was unexpectedly not rich considering its strong colors. There were not much chicken in it but still acceptable. Next is the BBQ Saba fish set that is priced at $6 too. The saba fish was fresh and tender but slightly salty. There were minmal small bones in it too wh

The soup was well flavoured with seaweed and tasted good as well.

kimchi fried rice $5.80the fried rice was very moist and the kimchi flavour was very strong. the seaweed complemented the rice well. wish they could give more! egg was normal tasting. the spiciness was just right, not too spicy nor mild. tanghoon a flavourful dish topped with lots of sesame seeds but i don't think one person can finish it all as it can get rather sick after. it is not a dish that I will order again.

Ordered a plate of kimchi fried rice for $5.80 which included 2 side dishes - kimchi and anchovies. The anchovies were crispy and slightly salty while the kimchi was marinated well. The fried rice portion was huge and the ingredients in it was kimchi and it was topped with a sunny side-up. The rice was moderately spicy. It was not the best kimchi rice I've tasted but it was acceptable.

Normally for Korean cuisines, I will go for the kimchi tofu soup or beef soup with rice. Since I am taking it away, I decided to order the bbq chicken set instead. Takeaway comes at an additional cost of 20cents where all the food are packed nicely into the separate compartments. The chicken is very well marinated and it goes very well with the steamed slightly sticky rice. Of course, not forgetting the kimchi side, which I think was just average, but nevertheless still okay. However, I felt that the food was quite cold by the time I got to school, perhaps due to the packaging which does not help retain heat.

I had the BBQ chicken set and a bowl of korean soup which i shared with a friend. The BBQ chicken was fine, pretty decent portion and taste. Slightly salty, but it was alright with the rice and onion. The soup, on the other hand, was bad. I have no idea what i was drinking. It was not miso, and it was not even spicy despite the look. Just a soup with a lot a lot of bean sprouts and tofu. Very disappointing as it was recommended by the stall auntie, who told me the soup was popular. I highly doub

I ordered the kimchi soup from this stall. The picture looked really appetizing, and I was totally tempted by it when I sat down next to the stall. However I was kind of disappointed when they served me. The colour of the soup was kind of light, means that it is not as spicy as it appears on the menu. Yup, I was right, it was not sour and spicy enough to my liking. Even their kimchi side dish was not sour, I guess they did not ferment the cabbage long enough.
