I love the fish soup from this stall because of the freshness of the sliced fish. Basically you start ordering from the uncle and the one behind the stove will start preparing. They will weigh the sliced fish first before cooking them, to ensure fairness and every customers will get the same amount of sliced fish. There is bitter gourd slices added into the soup as well to make it more flavorful. I like their soup based because it is thick and tasty and I will always finish the whole bowl. Also,

Was looking for a light, healthy meal for dinner, so I tried this stall. The cook has a weighing machine which he uses to weigh the fish slices - I saw "60" for the reading on it, so I reckon it should be 60g of fish slices for my $3.50 bowl of fish soup with thick beehoon. Well, at least you cannot argue that another customer got more slices than you... The soup is brimming with flavor, and you can taste the goodness of fish within. The soup is brimming with flavor, and you can taste the goodness of fish within. It was so tasty, I finished my whole bowl of soup! A generous amount of sliced ginger, a mix of coriander and spring onion and finely sliced bitter gourd were given. The fish slices were fresh and went very well with their yellow dip sauce (grated ginger & fermented soy bean sauce) with freshly cut red chili slices. I was very satisfied after my meal - glad to have found a good teochew fish soup place!!

Was attracted by their Shark Jelly, which we don't usually find it at every fish soup stall.A plate of chilled shark Jelly is $6. The shark meat is a bit dry and tough. But the chilled savoury soft jelly with spring onion and fried shallots was quite good, with a bit of fishy smell.

Craving for local food as was away for 3 weeks and just want something soupy and I went for this teochew fish soup which was the clear kind. I had eaten at this stall a couple of times and like the simplcity of the soup, no msg and evaporated milk. I had with a bowl of rice and enjoyed the dipping of fermented soya beans with red cut chillis. The fish was so fresh and thick in slices and the soup was very tasty and the starting price range at $3.00.
