Cheng Long Fish - Kopitiam (Closed)

The fish soup here from this coffee shop is definitely one of the best choice among the rest if you are actually looking for something light and healthier choice for you lunch or dinner. The sliced fish portion here are quite generous and are very fresh and soft in texture. The soup base is very clean and full of the sweetness from the fish and vegetables used in cooking the soup base. Totally delicious and satisfying.

I had cheng long fried fish soup for the vivo city kopitiam. I think cheng long serves one of the nicer fish soup in Singapore. Firstly they have two kinds of soup, the milk one or the clear one. I am an avid fan of their milk soup, it is very creamy and makes the soup taste a little light. the fish does not have any fishy smell, instead, the meat is very sweet due to its freshness. They also add a lot of vegetables into the soup.

My girlfriend and I decided to order a bowl of fish soup to share. We did not order any rice as we already have our main course. We ordered the fried fish milk soup. the soup was indeed tasty, they added the correct amount of milk making the soup taste really very milk and flavourful. The fish slices was deep fried till golden brown. The fish they used as very fresh and the meat was very sweet. It was indeed satisfying.

When we want something cheap and simple at Vivo, we will go to the Kopitiam at basement 2. After finishing the left-over from both my kids, which was not much, I was not really full yet. Therefore, I looked for something that was not so heavy. So I picked this fried fish bee hoon.$3.60 after Kopitiam card discount. Looked better than the fishball noodle. I requested for milk to be added so as to create an effect of tastier soup. The portion was reasonable with quite good number of pieces of fried fish. Fish tasted a little fishy but could be easily covered with the chilli padi. Overal
