The soup is not thick but doesn't mean its taste is thin.  It's so complicated when the clear soup is mixed with its gravy.  The spiciness give very good stimulation of your taste buds but it didn't cover the taste of the gravy and the noodles.  You feel like having the freshness of crab toes in the gravy though I dunno whether they have it there, and the mix of shredded chicken give a different texture to other laksa stalls.

Definitely its among the best laksas in town!

If you have tried the famous Katong 328 Laksa or Amy’s laksa in Bedok, the claypot Laksa here is a lot more rich and smooth with the enhancement of the heavy coconut-based gravy, pretty sinful delicacy and may not meant for those who are health conscious, but the flavourful bowl of noodle was simply tantalising, sometime we got to forgive ourselves of the high cholesterol in the bowl and just let the taste buds to enjoy a little.Visit http://ieatandeat.com/depot-road-claypot-laksa/ for the full

this is one of the best claypot laksas I have ever tried! I queued up for around 30 minutes for it and it was definitely worth the wait. One thing good about it is that the laksa is served in a claypot and so even when you are halfway through your meal, the laksa remains hot, making it more delicious. the coconut is very rich. the secret lies in their gravy - that extra mouthful of thick curry-like gravy that they place on top before serving it to the customer. When it comes to food, I have to admit that I am picky in the sense I feel that good food are hard to find. When I tried this claypot laksa, I was hooked onto it ever since. I would give it a 4.5/5 because they do not use those fresh prawns. Other than that, the taste is perfect to me and the standard still remains. The thick yet not overwhelming gravy tasted so delectable coupled with its appropriate spiciness. So yummy, so addictive it leaves you wanting for more.

The last time i came was about a year ago. This time, i happened to be here for breakfast so i decided to try it once more.

There was a friendly uncle manning the stall. He actually recommended the $4.50 but i decided to go with the smallest one at $3.50. There is another larger portion at $5.

Though it stated 'Self-service' is expected but uncle asked me to take a seat and he will serve it to my table. I paid and walked away.

Uncle served it to my table in less than 5 minutes. The portion was quite little for $3.50. Ingredients like tau pok, fish cake, cockles were added. I expected to see shredded chicken in it too but i only found it after gave it a few digs. The coconut milk infused gravy was aromatic. It could be better if it is spicier. No sambal chilli is added when it was served. Maybe the uncle has left it out accidentally?

I felt the ingredients and portion were a bit lesser as compared to my last visit.

The taste is still good though.

My hubby asked me to meet him for lunch and since the time was not very sufficient so we decided to go somewhere near his office. There were quite a number of good and famous stalls in this Alexandra Village. We reached there slightly before 12 noon and the surrounding carparks were already full. We had no choice but park a distance away among the broken down cars. While I was queuing for the laksa, I observed the way the laksa was cooked and couldn't help but think that the long queue was very much due to the inefficient hawker. I didn't understand why he couldn't make full use of the stoves he has. He was very slow in preparing the food.

I ordered two bowls of claypot laksa, $5 each. Very expansive. Such a small bowl with not much things within. The laksa gravy was very little too. Not very satisfying.

The noodles were cooked perfectly, not too soft but the correct texture. They were very generous with their ingredients, there were plenty of cockles, tau pok and fish cake. The cockles were really fresh and it was really sweet juicy, the laksa gravy coated round it making it taste really good.

This was my first time eating Laksa straight from a Claypot. I always love to have my foods nicely hot and the Claypot managed to serve that purpose. The temperature of the Laksa was kept warm throughout the entire meal. The stall has quite a lot of media clippings including a Makansutra certificate on display. I just had lunch but still curious enough to order the smallest portion at $3.50 to try. I made an order and paid up, it was delivered by the nice Auntie to my table in 10 minutes. The fi

The first mouthful did not manage to win me. The taste of the coconut seemed to be a little overwhelmed but the gravy tasted rather thick and fragrant. It came with a good portion of thick bee hoon and ingredients like sliced fish cake, tau pok, cockles, shredded chicken. The overall taste was passable, if minus the claypot then it is just another average bowl of laksa.

It was still a pleasant experience though.

My first time having laksa served in a claypot! Spicy+Hot = Super HOT. There was not long a queue so I decided to try it and I didn't regret. The gravy was fragrant and there wasn't too much coconut milk like some other places. There was also quite a portion of the usual ingredients in the claypot, including cockles, fishcake and tau pok. Eating from a claypot makes the gravy super hot and I was sweating by the time I finished the pot of noodles. Nevertheless, it was slurping goood!

The stall has since moved from the coffee shop back to the renovated hawker place. A bad thing about this area is that there's so much to eat but just so little space in your stomach. Just within a stone throw's away from queensway shopping centre, we have here an unconventional laksa. Chili here is not as spicy so people with low tolerance need not fret. Overall, there's nothing to shoot down for this dish, its an all rounder!
