Will back again again next time.

Ordered the Daikokuya Ramen and Spicy Miso Ramen. Like all good ramen, the soup is thick and flavourful. The Daikokuya ramen tasted saltier than the Spicy miso ramen in my opinion. Using tonkotsu pork base, the ramen is firm in texture and comes with kirobuta pork belly, marinated boiled egg and other garnishes like leek and spring onions. The pork is tough to bite. The spicy miso soup tastes appetising and not too spicy. You can choose to add more egg or garnishes at additional cost. The restau

We were quite lucky as we were allocated with a table as soon as we entered the restaurant. The staff are all very busy due to dinner peak hours and there were people starting to form a queue outside while we are ordering our dishes.

This Ramen was stated as one of the Chef’s recommendation Ramen in the menu but when it is being served to me, I felt that it was very much like those hawker / coffeeshop handmade noodle texture and taste. The ramen is being served with a few ingredients including boiled egg added onto it and a bowl of soup. I would say not a bad dish to try though there should be some better ramen within these menu.

Ramen tasted something like those instant noodles (More QQ texture) being added to a salad dish with some mayonnaise cream added onto it. The overall taste was quite refreshing and acceptable for the first time but it seems to be quite oily from the mayonnaise cream after you were nearly finishing the food. Would prefer if they add those 0% fat salad sauce instead of cream sauce.

My friend and I were shopping at Raffles City and he recommended me to try this Ramen restaurant at the basement food hall. The queue was short and we were seated within 15 minutes.I ordered the Sapporo Miso Ramen, the price was similar to other ramen restaurant at about $15. The miso based soup was not as thick and flavourful as other Ramen restaurants, it was light. The char siew though only given one piece, was rather big in size. It was not as fatty and tasted slightly braised. The noodle was cooked just right and was springy in texture.

Overall, I prefer a thicker Ramen soup, hence this Ramen restaurant was not suitable for me.

Mentai Mayo Sushi (6 pcs) - $6.80As we were pretty hungry, we ordered a side dish while waiting for the mains to come. I have this soft spot for mentai ~ anything with mentai or called mentai something in most places are pretty yummy. And so we ordered the item in the menu with mentai lor, knowing well that it would mean addition burden to the weight as it can be categorized as fatty food ~_~"As expected, mentai never disappoint me and the pricing was pretty decent too! =) Beef Curry Rice - $16.

Beef Curry Rice - $16.80

I must say, the beef was pretty good ~ tender & juicy!

The cool thing about this restaurant is also that they have mini ramen and regular ramen so for small eaters or people like me who prefer the soup to the noodles.. thats a great alternative!

I ordered the shrimp and avocado salad now.. trust me the salad is a good portion as a main.. and they dont scrimp on the shrimps! Thats was i love about the salads here.. no frustration with portion size.. and they have all sorts of dressing for u to choose.. i love the japanese and sesame dressing..

Decided to give their ramen a try one night while in raffles city. Later saw that this place has a higher score in time out Singapore than ramen santouka which is the most ridiculous nonsense I've ever heard.

Anyways the ramen here wasn't bad, but was just absolutely nothing special. I tried their tonkotsu char siew and the broth was slightly creamy but thin and light in taste. If you've ever had proper tonkotsu, don't expect it here. This was nice because it brought me back to the days when I had half a$$ed ramen in Australia which actually brought back fond memories.

Nothing about the ramen was bad here, it was just no better than ajisen which for me is just utility ramen when you're starving and there is nothing better in the mall...
