If you are those who really hates to eat those roasted chicken meat with many bones in it, this boneless chicken rice is definitely an ideal choice for you. The stall owner is really kind and thoughtful for puting in that extra efforts to remove the bones for his customers. The chicken meat is quite tender and juicy and really easy to eat without the bones in it. The chicken skins have been roasted till very crispy which added that extra x-factor to their chicken rice. The shop name “Delicious Boneless Chicken Rice” aligns with the food quality if the shop. It is located in Katong Shopping Centre where you can get chicken rice for $4. The price is reasonable for a meal. I had steamed white chicken which I enjoyed as the meat was fresh and tender. The rice was not oily and smelt fragrant too.

The chicken rice was acceptable, not too salty and was rather fragrant. The chicken too was tender, not too fat and I especially like the sauce of the chicken. If I am not wrong, the sauce of the chicken is mainly sesame oil and oyster sauce, simple but delicious. I would say the soup that comes with the plate of chicken rice is unlike those we get from the usual chicken rice stalls. I would say the soup that comes with the plate of chicken rice is unlike those we get from the usual chicken rice stalls. The soup taste a bit like bak kut teh with its peppery and herb taste and I love it. The cabbage make the soup especially sweet and the cabbage is soft and nice to chew on too. However, I would prefer the soup to be less peppery though. The soup that comes with the chicken rice change everyday, hence this give people an additional anticipation of the kind of soup they will be serving everytime they eat the chicken rice there.
However, I would find the chicken rice a bit more expensive than others as it is charged $4. It would be a good try though for those who have not tried it yet.

Katong Shopping Centre has a very reach history and so are all the stores at the basement kopitiam. This chicken rice store has been around for ages. The soup was delicious despite being a common soup that you can find anywhere around the corner.Chicken taste juicy and tender. The char siew on the other hand was overly BBQ, too hard to chew. After all, it is the chicken that matter right? Total spending was $14 which is reasonable.

The rice is really fragrance and the meat is tender. You must also try the roasted meat which is rather crispy. And what draws the difference between them and the other chicken stall. They serve generous amount of A-Char and herbal soup. You can even refill the A- char if you like. Too bad for me, I didn't dine there or else I think I can eat one big bowl of A- char. The serving for the soup is similar to those stall which you buy from the herbal soup stall. One bad point is that I find it rather pricy. The packet of rice that I bought cost me 6 bucks. I doubt I have paid that price before in a food court.
