EDO Sushi (Closed)

I was surprising that when I spotted this sushi roll showing so beautifully displaying in the showcase. I bought it immediately without second thought; it was not because I was very hungry. I tried it at once, it was delicious, crabmeat, slices of cucumber & egg (sweet) & fish eggs (best) mixed with sushi rice. This California roll was not a small size sushi; I went back to the stall & got the 2nd roll and ate it. Yummy!

the sushi was not really authentic but taste ok & reasonable price but sometimes the sushi was not fresh,rice was hardso i always buy a lots & asked the auntie to make it on the spotsometimes auntie will give me a black face but sometimes they won'thave to depend on your luck,haha i like their crab mayo,tamago sushisometimes if go after 9pm can get half price deal but got to act fast before all gone

Can you guess what's in these filling of my sushi ? Yes,it's cheese, chuck of cheese inside this sushi. I was both surprise and shock at the same time. Cheese in my sushi and I never try this kind of sushi before. The taste was abit weird for me as I prefer the traditional type sushi. This is a very convenient stall for you to take away sushi for lunch, dinner or for snacks. Sometimes when I am out and in anticipation that I will need some food for afternoon snack, some food items like sushi will be my ideal choice. The rice roll was easy to carry around and they have three choices for you to choose from, namely tuna, crab sticks and plain version with sesame seeds. Their hand roll was one of the special that I could not miss. Not expensive,cost one dollar odd per hand roll. They gave generous amount the ingredients like crab meat,egg and sushi rice. You get to make your own sushi by wrapping the seaweed with the rice. If you are taking it as lunch,it's not only worth it but also fulfilling for your stomach. Must try it !

Whenever I wanted something simple, this stall will appear in my mind as the sushi or handrolls are convenient for take aways. A handroll is good enough as a snack. The handroll was not bad with a strip of egg, crab stick and a cucumber, top with fish roes. Sometimes, when one of the ingredients runs out, the aunties manning the stall will replace it with other ingredients. The rice taste okay as there was the vinegar taste. Quite fresh, thus not bad for a snack.

Passed by Hougang Point and decided to get the preserved radish sushi from Edo Sushi. What attracted me was that the yellow radish in the centre of the sushi. They looked so attractive and drawn me to them. Taste of the radish was abit salty,so just eat plain without any soya sauce added. The sushi rice was well cooked and done, and rolled up with seaweed with the yellow radish make it more appealing to your appetite.
