I have a friend who really loves frog porridge and it just brought out the curiosity in me to go and try it at least once! The both of us ordered a big pot to share. When it came, I can literally smell the aroma of the soft rice. The spring onions and pepper further enhance the flavour of the porridge. Ordered the porridge for 2, but we couldn't finish it because it is quite a big portion. However, it tastes nice. The frog porridge is so delicious that i savour everything up within minutes and i only remembered to take a photo of it after all of us finishes it! Already show how fabulous it is right! The frog is tender and juicy, a little salty which i love! Porridge or rather congee is nice too. Hot and soft, not too watery kind. Will go back for more!

I seldom come here as it's quite far for meRecently came with friends for dinnerThe taste was still the same,very nice & everytime i come here,confirm full house & waiting time for food can wait up to 20-30mins,but worth the waitI like their sauce,which was very thick & sweet, The frog meat was really tender & very smoothThey also sell other side dishes but we never tryOverall i rate 8/10

Craving for frog porridge time and again especially on cold days at Geylang Lor 9. The place is huge so you need not worry about not having seats. We had the original frog porridge that's non spicy. As usual, the standard is still there. Frog is tender and well marinated. Sauce is perfect to go along with the porridge. Will definitely head back again and again for more!

Their Claypot frog and fried frog are very delicious and buy 2 get 1 free and there is quite a lot of variety of cook method that you can choose. Besides, they also have other "zhi char" Chinese type dishes and serves canned drink and coconut drink. Both of us love this very much.Overall, the price is quite affordable and the service is good too. the only disadvantage is that it is not air-conditioned. haha
