we had our lunch at this famous Sarawak laksa and kolomee place. It is one of the stall in the food court at bedok block 205. The laksa is very nice. it is spicy enough and it tasted like the original Sarawak laksa I tried before. However, the kolome was not very good, the noodle could be softer. The food portion is quite big for a small eater.

Different with the local style Wanton Dried Noodles, Sarawak Kolo Mee was presented without dark soy sauce. Noodles were springy tender, few pieces Char Siew was added on top. Overall was flavourful, thickly gravy mixed evenly. I was pleased with the quality of the noodles, satisfied with the serving size and price.

I've always like Sarawak Kuching Laksa and Kolo Mee...so today decided to head down to Bedok for Kolo Mee! Although the taste is not as good as from Sarawak, but still ok and satisfied my cravings! Although the taste is not as good as from Sarawak, but still ok and satisfied my cravings!

They give a generous serving of noodle, minced pork and char siew for a mere S$3.80 per bowl. Noodles are very springy and chewy but it's a bit saltish for me. Minced pork is well marinated.

Tried their sarawak laksa before @ S$4.00 per bowl, not as good as the orignal from Kuching as the laksa paste not so tasty. So i still prefer their kolo mee rather than their laksa.

Also they advertise selling self made bak kwa which they made using charcoal grill. Will try someday.

Try to avoid peak timing around 12-1pm.

This stall sells Sarawak 2 popular hawker dishes. They are Sarawak Laksa and Sarawak Kolo Mee .The Kolo Mee is very different from our local version. The noodle is curly like instant noodle and has a springy texture. The bowl of noodle comes with flavourful mince pork topping and slices of char siew. It does not have any chilli or tomatoes unlike the local version but it is very yummy and tasty. It cost $3.80 but the portion is quite big. It also serves you a vinegar solution with red cut chil

The taste is very close to what you get in Kuching and at hawker prices. In Kuching, you can also asked for the red char siew oil which gave the noodle extra flavour.
