I had sudden cravings for mussels and was lucky that Food for Thought happened to be serving mussels as their special. The pasta itself was normal. What I really liked was the fresh mussels which lacked a distinct musty foul-smelling taste that not fresh mussels often carry. The sauce itself was excellent. My only complaint was that for its price, the mussels could have been more.

Food of Thought is one of the few cafes in Singapore with a social cause-to raise funds for water provision in third world countries .They have a wide range of selection : all day breakfast which is not all day(till 530pm), salads,pastas, risottos, mains, in house desserts and slice cakes. Food for Thought is quite a nice and comfortable cafe that serves affordable western food and at the same time good quality food. The dessert is not bad, I had these to share with my friend after we have our dinner and some window shopping. The Red velvet cake is very special so I order to try it. And this is my first time having velvet cake but it's great! And the ice cream is creamy and chilling!

This is my first time visiting food for thought. I wanted to visit this cafe for a long time as i've heard that the reviews were good.I ordered FULL WORK. They have half work as well which is relatively smaller portion and cheaper, if i'm not wrong it's $12, whereas Full work is $18 +++. My sister treated myself and mum to food for thought for an incredible lunch. I ordered the bacon and broccoli risotto. It was fabulous! I was never a fan of risotto due to a bad experience so I was very skeptical when my sister recommended me the bacon and broccoli risotto. The risotto was light and was excellently blended with the bacon and broccoli. I really enjoyed my meal at the restaurant.

Second visit to Food For Thought and realised I really like this place Really love their ambience. Just gives me a very homely feel and the warmth shown by the staff really brightens up my day! Had brunch at Food for Thought! The setting of the restaurant is very cosy and I totally loved the environment! The food there is also very good and I especially loved the scramble eggs! The price is also affordable and food is definately worth for the money!

I have visited the place with my best friends but have not gone with my hubby. The Place is simple, very cosy place and provide good food. The only thing is it a little small and can get crowded at times, best to get a reservation before arriving. This outlet doesn't open on Sundays. Pizza over there is very good, it is a food that must order to try. Prices are not too expensive, service is good.
