At Garuda Padang, you have to order your food at the counter, and the staffs will plate them and serve to your table in a short while. We ordered quite a few dishes despite the fact that it's just the two of us, because most of the dishes look pretty appetizing. Pergedel Daging Sapi is the Croquette Potato with Minced meat. It's too oily for me and my least favourite of the meal. Sambal Udang Petai (Prawns & Exotic Beans with Sambal), this dish is very tasty to go with fragrant rice. The sambal

Sambal Udang Petai (Prawns & Exotic Beans with Sambal), this dish is very tasty to go with fragrant rice. The sambal is not overly spicy, and those generous amount of prawns are juicy and succulent too.

I quite like the Ayam Goreng Bumbu (Garuda fried chicken with herb floss), although the meat is actually slightly dry. The fragrance of the blue ginger floss is overwhelmed, it would be perfect if the meat is more juicy and tender.

Gulai Singkong (Tapioca shoot cooked in hot coconut milk) is another dish that is perfect for fragrant rice! The gravy is not spicy, and all the ingredients such as tapioca shoot, potato etc have soft texture too).

Sayur Lodeh (Curry vegetables) has a different curry flavour than others, pretty interesting!

Last but not least, Telor Dadar (omelet with chopped beans) is also worth a try.

We were here again at the Garuda Padang Cuisine. It was about 6 plus but the restaurant was quite empty. There was a great selection of dishes. I wanted the Sotong but my hubby didn't order it. This Tumis Kailan was a little too spice for the kids. They made full use of the freeflow lime juice. This was my favourite, it was delicious but a little too oily.
We had a really full meal.

The place was bright and clean. You picked your choices of food at the counter and they would serve them to your seat. Most of the dishes were spicy. My hubby ordered the curry chicken, sambal eggs, deep fried flat fish and a vegetable dish, most likely kang kong. My favourite was the sambal egg. The rice and the lime juice, if you ordered it, were free flow. My hubby liked the fried flat fish which I found to be quite hard. The curry was not spicy, even my kids could take it. Not a bad choice if you feel like having some Indonesian food.
