I was at Nex buying dinner for hubby and myself. I had been a fan of this roast meat stall and always like to order their char siew sauce chicken wings. Today I'm having their roast duck rice with the thick thick gravy..Roast duck rice w/ char siew and braised egg $6.00The roast duck skin was slightly crispy, meat was not tough. I love the thick thick sweet gravy that comes with the roast meat. The char siew was good too, slightly charred but not chewy. The braised egg tasted normal though.

I ordered a plate of Roasted Meat with Char Siew FOR $4.50. No soup is served with the rice though. The portion is quite generous for both meats. The seasoning was just right and not too salty. The roasted meat done quite nicely to have a slightly crispy layer. The char siew was slightly charred to give it a nice fragrance. The braised sauce goes well with the meats and rice.

After grocery shopping at NTUC NEX, we decided to have dinner at the Food Republic food court. As I was hungry, I wanted to have some rice based food. I saw the display case showing the nice looking char siew so I decide to order a plate. The char siew tasted okay but the sauce is a bit sweet. The rice was a bit mushy and tasted average.

I went to nex to utilise one of the voucher acquired via Groupon and realised the participating outlet has already closed. I went hunting for an alternative during the busy lunch hour. We decided to eat at this food court and this stall happened to be one of the stalls with no queue. I decided to go for it as i was already starving at 2pm. Roasted Meat and Char Siew rice is not an option in the menu and in order to order it, i will have to order the Char Siew rice at $3.50 and add another $1.00

This Roast stall which sells all type of roast meat. I came across the Chinese Sausage hanging in the stall, decided to order 2 boxes of sausage rice for takeaway.The box is filled with big fat slices of Chinese Sausage, not the usual ones that you used for cooking. The sausage is well marinated and has bits of lean meat and fats.It is tasty and has accompanied thick gravy which you can pour on top of the rice.

Came across this stall at nex shopping mall after shopping for grocery . This stall at food republic selling lots of variety of roasted meat, I order their roasted duck rice and added char siew. Rice were mix with sauce which tasted just nice and roasted duck was so little.& it just so soIt was a little pricy as well which I think their roasted duck rice doesn't worth this much!
