This is an eatery which sells desserts as well as other food like wanton noodles and dim sum. They are famous for the mango desserts and most of their cold desserts have some element of mango in them. Their desserts are priced from around $4.50 onwards. Besides the cold desserts, they also sell hot desserts like sesame paste and almond paste. Since they are famous for mango desserts, I decided to order the Mango Pomelo Herbal Jelly. The herbal jelly comes in one mold and it is placed among the mango/strawberry puree and topped with some pomelo. It looks rather nice and I enjoy the taste. Herbal jelly is nourishing for the body and as its taste is slightly better, the sweetness from the puree is just nice to pair with the jelly so that the jelly is not too hard to consume, though for me, I didn't find the herbal jelly to be bitter. The only thing which I think can be better improved is that the serving of pomelo could have been more as I think it adds a refreshing taste to the dessert.

We dropped by Hong Kong Sheng Kee for some dessert as the menu looked enticing. Their specialty seems to be mango as there are many mango based desserts on their menu. Besides desserts, they also have chinese food like wanton noodles and dim sum items as well so it is quite comprehensive. I ordered the black sesame paste as I wanted to have something warm. In terms of taste, it is rather sweet and the black sesame fragrance was not that strong. Also, the paste is not as thick as I hoped it would be, it seems to be more watered down. I guess maybe I should stick with trying their signature mango desserts instead next time.

Quick dinner with sister & the boys before heading to The Rink. Ordered Chicken Cutlet Noodle. Apart from that, I also add on $1.90 for a dessert (Mango Pomelo) and a dimsum (Yam Cake), and another $1.90 for an Ice Lemon TeaThe yam cake is a little bland, but with generous yam bits. The fried shallots on top of it is slightly salty, so it somehow compliment the bland yam cake. Both the mango and the pomelo bits in the dessert are sweet too. Noodle is a little bland, so need some chili to go with

Noodle is a little bland, so need some chili to go with it. Vegetable is a little over cooked while the chicken cutlet is nicely done. Chicken is very tender and crispy.

Noisy environment, so gotta raise your volume a little when placing your order at the counter. Waiting time is a little long. probably due to it's newly open. Tables are very near to one another and it's a little squeeze. Good for just dessert.

Mango Pomelo Sago (promotion price of $2+)
There were only about 4 cubes of mangoes and bits of pomelo. Sago were relatively more probably cause it is cheaper. :/ The consistency of it was very weak with little mango puree.
I felt that they were not generous enough with the ingredients considering this is one of their best-seller desserts.

There is no service charge as customers has to place order at the counter.
Overall, it was still quite alright as I love mango pomelo sago. However, I just felt that they could have done more.
