What is the best food to eat on a hot day other than ice cream? ICE KACHANG! Love this traditional old school dessert which is really light on the stomach and helps to cool me down on a blazing hot day. The ice kachang had sweet corn, red bean, atap seeds and of course the colourings that makes it look so attractive and tempting. The condense milk also enhanced the shaved ice making it so good!

The ice kachang was delicious. I especially like the milk that they will always put on top. It s sweet and makes it taste nicer. The different colors that the ice kachang has gives it different flavours too. I love it. however, there is some red beans, jelly and many more on the bttom. I do not quite like the stuff on the bottom. I eat ice kachang for the ice that has flavours.

The ice kachang at this stall is really good and most importantly very value for money. It cost us only $1.20 for this huge mountain of ice. The ice kachang seems to melt a little fast, probably because they shaved the ice until very fine. They added the correct amount of sugar syrup such that it is not too sweet. Love the amount of evaporated milk they topped the ice with, it makes the ice kachang very milky and creamy. One thing I have to commend them is that are very generous with their ingre

For this price, they really added a lot of jellies, sweet corn, atap seeds and red beans. Really enjoy this dessert especially on a hot and humid day.

This particular ice kachang was recommended by an elderly couple that we met and chatted. We met that couple when we happened to share the same table in one of the food centres at Toa Payoh. They were telling us that this probably the cheaper and nicest ice kachang in Singapore for the price of $1.00.We were there slightly after 2pm, there was still a queue of about 5 people waiting to order or waiting for their orders. We joined in and waited for about 15 minutes to get our ice kachang for $1.2

We were there slightly after 2pm, there was still a queue of about 5 people waiting to order or waiting for their orders. We joined in and waited for about 15 minutes to get our ice kachang for $1.20. The price has been increased from $1.00 to $1.20 but it is still worth the every cent as the ice kachang presented is the biggest and tallest that i ever tried.

What made it different from others gotta be the texture of the ice. It tasted like those type of snow ice in Taiwan. The texture of the shaved ice was very fine, very smooth and very soft. It melted in your mouth effortlessly and almost immediately once entered. It tasted rather milky with a well-balanced sweetness. The ingredients found beneath the pile of ice were the usual red beans, attap seeds, jelly cubes and sweet corns.

I have fallen in love with what i tasted and will definitely be back.

This ice kacang is the smoothest ice kacang I have ever had! Because it is so smooth ah, it really melts super fast. Better not take away or else it will not taste as great. The ice is so smooth, it topples quite easily without much skill when scooping so watch out. The syrup added was not too much but the red bean was a little disappointing.

On days where the heat is back on, a bowl of ice kachang sure helps to cool down. The ice here is extremely soft and fine. If you leave it on the table without touching it, the hill would have melted to a something like a bowl of rice. Nevertheless, it serves as a fine cold refreshment though much more work could be done to better improve the not so fresh ingredients within.

At $1.20, it still ranges across as the cheaper ice kachangs, although there are still $1 ones on the island. Ice is extremely smooth that it tends to melt within 3 minutes or so. The red bean, ah tup ji, grass jelly were nothing incredible but this stall is very generous with their syrup and milk. Eat it fast or see it melt right before your eyes and I recommend you to not have it take away or else you'll end up drinking instead of eating.
