Dinner at this Chinese restaurant, which actually has a very simple dining layout but is still comfortable as the environment is very cooling. Kway teow soup with chicken for only $6.90 which is consider reasonable. Chicken meat was quite tough and not juicy. THe kway teoh soup was abit too tasteless and not flavourful. The combination was quite poor and lousy. Service was alright but quite slow.

Ever since this stall open at the basement of century square, I've been wanting to try it! There was a long queue when it first opened and so I waited for it to die down a little first before trying. I had dinner with my parents over here and we ordered the set for 3 people. You have a choice to eat the chicken with either rice or hor fun. I guess many would choose their Ipoh hor fun as it is their specialty. I like the rice noodles, very silky and full of flavour! However, the whole plate of ch

However, the whole plate of chicken was disappointing as there were very little meat and mostly filled with bones. The bean sprouts, also their specialty, were nice though, very crunchy! There is a one person set meal that includes hor fun, steamed chicken and bean sprouts at $6.90. Overall, I feel that it will be much better if the chicken is not so boney!

Atfer shopping for some groceries at Century Square this morning, I decided to try the newly opened food stall Ipoh Lou Yau Bean Sprout Chicken. Since I was alone, I opted for a set meal comprising of a plate of white steamed kampong chicken meat combined with a generous serving of crunchy bean sprouts and a bowl of hot Ipoh hor fun for an early lunch. The kampong chicken meat was nothing special. Since I was alone, I opted for a set meal comprising of a plate of white steamed kampong chicken meat combined with a generous serving of crunchy bean sprouts and a bowl of hot Ipoh hor fun for an early lunch.

The kampong chicken meat was nothing special. In fact the chicken meat was a bit too soft. The chicken
meat served in our neighbourhood food centre are even better.

But I really had a crunch time with the stir fried bean sprouts. It has added great flavour and texture to the chicken dish. The lady who sat beside me also agreed that their bean sprout dish was good.

The hor fun was silky and soup served hot.

Total cost for my meal was $6.90.
