The FoodI ordered the sirolin steak with fries and pasta under the daily set lunch menu. It come with garlic bread, soup, coffee or tea and dessert. On that day the soup of the day is clear chicken soup and tasted refreshingly good and sweet with small chunks of chicken. Garlic bread also has strong garlic taste and bread is well toasted also. Lastly, the sirolin steak is juicy and beef is tender and soft. The Service
The service is good but waiting time tend to be quite long before the food served to me

The Ambience
The ambience is cosy and quiet and very nice for good weekday lunch

The Price
Paid about $14 for the set lunch

Overall
Food portion is quite small for me and price reasonable for set lunch hence highly recommend !!

Had set lunch at Jack's Place with my colleague during one of the weekdays and was really upset with their foods, environment and services. The lay out in the restaurant is quite squeezy and warm. Overall experience was quite a disaster here and really look forward to their improvement on the above before I would actually consider to revisit this branch again.

Jack's Place was never my choice for western cuisine but since my partner chose it for his UOB rewards, I decided to give them a chance. My partner ordered the steak. No idea what kind of steak he ordered but it was really hard. Maybe because he asked for well-done. Then again, I had well done steak at other restaurants and it didn't take like that. I ordered the mixed grill. It comes with sausage, lamp chop, chicken fillet, beef steak and bacon. The lamp chop has a very strong taste that I didn't like. Bacon was extremely hard and beef was hard as well. The only thing I like about my food was the sausage. ($19.50)

The service in this branch was quite good. If only they didn't have friendly flies that kept hovering around our table, drinks and food. This is one place I would not go back again.

Even though it was a weekday, the restaurant was quite crowded. The service there was quite poor and the foods served was relatively slow. Steak was very hard and the serving was quite small too. Chinese Hor Fun was the most horrifying dish, kway teow was stick together like a 'meatball' and not much ingredients have been added to it. Not a very good makan experience there. My verdict: 5/10
