Walking around the food centre, I spotted this bakery and decided to buy some of the breads since it looked really nice and smelt really nice as well. I bought two of the hei bee hiam bread as well as three egg tarts. The egg tarts are smooth and not too sweet and the crust is very buttery is fragrant. It crumbles quite easily so be careful when you eat it especially if you are walking while you are eating like I did. The hei bee hiam bread is also nice with as the hei bee hiam is slightly salti

The hei bee hiam bread is also nice with as the hei bee hiam is slightly saltish and spicy and it goes well with the bread which is soft and sweet tasting. There is also a generous amount of fillings within the bread. This stall is worth a try.

the egg tart here is bright yellow and very thick and dense. in fact, it is so dense and thick that it separates entirely and cleanly from the pastry shell! the pastry shell is not too greasy and can stand alone like a cookie. there is egg used in the shell as well. the egg tart filling seems to have lots of egg in it as you can smell and taste a lot of egginess. it is also very very deep yellow and fragrant. the service is quick and efficient. the sell milk bread here which is fantastic but cos

Surprisingly, the donut here is really quite good. The dough is soft and uniform, the texture is chewy and the sugar is just of the right amount. Some old folks seem to like their traditional kueh too.If I’m not wrong, they close on Mondays so do remember this day of the week or else you will be disappointed.

I love the fragrance of milk bread. You can smell the creaminess. And it's been a childhood love of mine. Been eating it since I can remember, until I moved overseas and never saw it again. But this week, i stumbled upon it at the hawker centre!

It must be full of sugar, I realise, but oh it tastes so good! This loaf is made to my childhood style - small, thick slices. It's more expensive than other milk breads - 200grams cost $2.40! Bonjour and Gardenia cost only about $2 for 400grams!

The slices are very small and each slice is only about 3/4 the size of one slice of Gardenia or Bonjour milk bread. But it is cut very thick. And it is very dense so it's great to chew on! It's very sweet so I don't usually put anything on it. When you toast it, it tastes great too! But I love it the way it is.

The bread gets sold out usually by mid day. So there must be others who share my love for this milk bread! The service is quick and friendly. Highly recommended bread! The bread maker also sells buns. I wonder if they'll be milk buns or just plain hot dog buns? It's not made at this stall but they've recently decided to carry this bread. Lucky me!

They sell mainly egg tarts and lately, sugar donuts as well.

The egg tarts are in a half-baked cookie base and the egg is more "steamed" then baked. If you like this version of egg tarts, where the pastry is half cooked and taste like cookie dough, and the egg filling is soft and eggy, then this is for you.

There is no real flavour. No butter taste, no vanilla, nothing. Just cookie dough and egg taste.

The sugar donuts are pretty average too. Not very dense or firm, not very tasty.

This store seems to be popular as it's the only store selling what they are selling at this food centre. Recommended for quick, convenient fix. Each donut is about $0.70 and each egg tart is about $0.80.

Go after 12:30pm as it seems that's the time that they bring out most of their foods. Before that time, they are not ready and are still baking. Nice polite service. A bit slow.
