I came across Kheng Fatt Hainanese Beef Noodles as I walked up the flight of stairs (main) and they were just located right beside at the 1st Level. Opted a dry version bowl of tasty and hearty Hainanese beef noodle to start with. Its flavoursome starchy gravy slathered with thick bee hoon is all heavenly and lip smackingly good. Beef slices were well cooked, maintaining its tenderness. Try dipping the slices into their homemade chilli sauce added with the tangy taste from the squeeze of the lime. Perfect! The grated peanuts had given an extra texture to the palates and some preserved vegetables had added a twist to its sweet tasty sauce. Perhaps this is the best drier version of beef noodle I had in Singapore.
