So the only thing I wouldn't touch would be the intestines.Everything else. I loved the pickled vegetable ends.Diced and cooked till soft (by duck fat) and sweet. And as much as I never liked everything that looked like an internal organ,I've started eating liver. If only for its iron rich content.A murky salted vegetable soup with liver and lean meat. And a small bowl of kway.Bliss came at a price of $11.70 for three.Gotta love the Ang Mo Kio neighbourhood

Everything else.

I loved the pickled vegetable ends.
Diced and cooked till soft (by duck fat) and sweet.

If only for its iron rich content.
A murky salted vegetable soup with liver and lean meat.

And a small bowl of kway.
Bliss came at a price of $11.70 for three.

Gotta love the Ang Mo Kio neighbourhood

One of the main reason why I have been keep on coming to this stall for more pig organ soup is there really generous portion and the pig organs in it are very fresh and chewy. The soup base is full of the fragrant from the differnt types of pig organ and the wide range of chinese spicies and herbs in it. My favourite if there mini pig intestine which is chewy and not overcooked. The chilli sauce used to dip the ingredients is also very nice, which is abit sweet and sour flavour in it. The pr

The price is reasonable which also attract crowds to buy their pig organs soup during lunch and dinner hours.

Had a craving for Kway Chap for dinner and I pass by this stall. I decided to give this Kway Chap a try and it looks good. I ordered the Kway Chap set. The kway chap is very smooth and the gravy is hot and tasty. The kway chap comes with various stuff, my fav is the braised tofu and the egg. The fish cakes and tau pok also tasted fresh.

We were finding a stall that sell Kway Chap till late and near us then I came across Lan San Kway Chap so I asked my sis to take away from here.Despite operating late, Lan San Kway Chap still has enough ingredients to last till they shut it's door. My sis reached there about 11 plus at night and was greeted with a wide range of selection to choose from. The ingredients are very fresh, the intestines do not stink at all and the serving is very generous! The ingredients are very fresh, the intestines do not stink at all and the serving is very generous! The sauce is sweet, it must be braised pretty long as the ingredients are soak with the sauce taste.

The Kway Chap serving was overwhelming! It was packed in 1 but serving for 2. I guess it has to do with the closing, as they probably was about to close and so they didn't want to waste food.

Sometime, it is good to be the late comer.

Salted vegetables has the strong salted element in it, very flavoursome not those bland salted vegetables. Good!

Kway Chap is always my favourite. One Sunday morning, i was asking my dad where he like to have breakfast. He told me that he had craving for Kwap Chap and i replied why don't we go to Ang Mo Kio at Blk 232 which is near to my uncle's house. Without any hestiation, we drove there together with my mum and my wife. When we reached there, we also invited our uncle to join us for Kwap Chap. Overall the food is good and price is very reasonable. Definitely, we will go and dine-in again.
