A friend told us that their biscuits were nice and worth the try. So I tried the half salty and half sweet flavor which was popular as I was told by the sales staff. Per piece at $1.00.It was without lard and so not as oily as those usual ones and yet the texture was not rough, tasty and the sweetness and saltiness were well balanced. The pastry skin was good and flaky too. Worth the try.

I was hungry one eveing & I was passing by the Little Red shop, I saw their tau sar piahs on sale. They were for just 1 $, so I asked for a lotus piah. It is pretty similar to moon cakes, but the crust is more crispy like a puff. The crust was crispy & salty too. where as moon cakes are more like a biscuit from outside. Inside it is similar to moon cakes, it had a nice, sweet lotus filling. It was a perfect sweet snack that I enjoyed.

I was at Vivo City, a place that I frequent most, since it is close to home & I always alight at Harbour front on my way back from work. That day, I was in the mood for some tea & a sweet. I walked by the Basement 2 & spotted the Little Red Shop. So i picked up a green tea lotus piah. I love green tea flavour. The filling was awesome. It was sweet, green & soft inside. While the crust was cripsy & salty. It was a lovely snack & went well with my cup of teh c. It costs just 1$ each

I had this as a before lunch snack. It was really good! The pastry was thin and flaky and the filling was just the right amount of salty. The filling was also slightly moist and not too dry. However, I did not like the size of the tau sar piah as it was too small! I paid $1.20 for this and I feel that it is 3/4 the size of a normal tau sar piah that you can get elsewhere.Nice but expensive 8/10

This is a memorable dining moment for me because...I ate a piah made with a green tea lotus filling and that itself is enough to make my day. I can't tell you how much I love the green tea flavour. The little red shop has them in various flavours like pandan, kaya, red bean, green tea etc & they cost just 1 $ each. The crust is crispy & they taste yummy. you should try it out.

It is so hard to get to try the balestier Tau Sa Piah as there is hardly any car park along the road , and the Q is always very long. I happened to see this shop while I was shopping around and got it for my friend to try. She had try the one at balestier before and find this is qutie similar. I am not sure if this came from the same shop as there is a few stalls along the road. But I do know that I will stop eating others Tau Sa Piah after I have tried this version. It is different from those

I'm not sure if it's a change of hands, formerly 611 Pau Sar Piah is now known as Little Red Shop. They still sell wife's biscuits and other pastries but now, they also sell sugar cookies in assorted creative designs. They have a vast variety. Eg: large Hello Kitty cookies to animals’ designs to love designs and more. The small ones cost $2 each but when you get a combo of 6, it's at the price of 5- $10.I bought the love designs range, chose 6 different ones. My boyfriend said they tasted like me
