Woke up early in the morning to travel to tiong bahru to have breakfast with my friends! This was my first time trying long john silver breakfast! Decided to order their french toast set which consists of cheese, ham and hashbrown! The toast was crispy and smell really nice. It was coated with egg and fried perfectly. However, the hashbrown was quite cold and not as crispy. Overall, i feel that their french toast was nice! Will come back to try their other breakfast items next time!

This long john silver outlet at Tiong Bahru is quite spacious and the environment is also clean and bright. The restaurant manager has greeted me when I stepped into this restaurant, which really has impressed me. Have bought their fried chicken and prawn fritters, which have been served to me in less than ten minutes after I have placed my order. The chicken meat is tender but abit too dry. The prawns are fresh and crunchy. French fries are crispy and not too oily as well. Delicious!

A relatively small shop, we have to walk a fair bit before reaching the counter and was greeted by staff with friendly service. Ordered Long John Silver shrimp and fish and had a HUGE portion of fries that were quite cold, probably leftovers because of the slow turnover. The fish was delicious, and the plate was not as oily as some long john silver outlets would be without draining the oil. The prawns were delicious and fresh! Bought this as a set for about $5.90

This chocolate pie is so delicious that I would never have enough and always been craving for more when I visit this fast food restaurant. The chocolate flavour is very thick and creamy and the chocolate cookie base is crunchy and really blend in well together. At less than three dollar per piece, I think is quite reasonable and great for all days' enjoyment. Cooling and refreshing and to eat with a cup of hot coffee is definitely more enjoyable.

I have always patronized this outlet when i wanted to eat long john silver but what surprised me when i saw my order was that how little the fries is now as compared to the past. I feel like it just isn't worth the price anymore. I hope they could do something about it as the fries they gave me is really pathetic! Perhaps i could have gone to their competitors and eat their set meals instead.

My daughter wanted to have breakfast at long john silver so we drove over to the toing bahru branch. We had their coupon so we ordered the breakfast set of texas chicken and ocean tuna mayo. She took the texas chicken sandwich while I settled for the tuna one. the sandwich was very filling, they used thick toast to make it, I was surprised that they took the effort to coat the bread with butter until it looks golden brown and very appetizing. Ordered the 3 piece chicken for $5.10 as they have this ongoing promotion and i thought it was rather worth as the regular 2 piece chicken costs $4.50 already. As this was a takeaway, when i reach home and opened it, i saw that they have given me 4 chicken. Am i lucky or what? They gave quite a lot of the crumbs too!

Ordered the set meal with 2 piece of chicken as this is my all time favourite at long john silver. But the sad thing is that the portion of the chicken seems to be shrinking more and more as years go by. I love the fries of long john silver much more than the other fast food outlets. Although the food at long john silver is so oily and heaty, but it doesnt hurt to eat it once in a while.
