Long Men Ke Zhan (Dragon Inn) Char Siew Rice Stall (Closed)

I simply love their char siew rice. Their char siew is not oily at all and healthy as they use lean meat instead of the fatty meat. The texture, u will know that it is definitely the char siew that you are looking for. With the lean meat, I do agree that due to less fatty meat, it texture remain soft and tender. Soup is tasty too. They have a variety of soup like water cress soup, preserved salty vegetable soup, etc. A good hawker choice. look at my char siew, I am so hungry now.

If you happen to pass by Toa Payoh, do check it out the char siew pork rice in this stall. I am those type of person who loves my char siew meat with more 'overcooked' texture on the pork meat and this stall has that criteria. The meat is juicy and tender and the stall owner has take slightly more longer hours to roast the meat till abit 'overcooked'. The plain rice is quite fragrant and the grains are separated well.
