Queue up for this Yong Tau Foo during lunch time which took me 30 minutes because there is about 10 people in front. To avoid queueing, you have to reach there much earlier than lunch time. There are alot of ingredients to choose from and there are some special hand-made fried food that they serve. Packed this back to office and it still taste as good as eating it at the hawker food centre! However the soup is abit salty in taste.

Inflation is real! The Yong Tau Foo from Meng Kee is no longer $0.40 per piece. It is now $0.50. Nevertheless, I don't mind paying slightly more for the Yong Tau Foo from Meng Kee as it is delicious. This stall serves a huge variety of Yong Tau Foo and I think many of which are made by the stall owner himself. Personally, I love the fried ball (I don't what it is made of) and the wanton (both fried and steam). Yumz!

This stall sells one of the cheapest yong tau foo, for 40 cent a piece, the size of each ingredient is somewhat similar to that of other yong tau foo stalls. They also have some uniquely theirs ingredient like the vegetable ball and the vegetable fish cake beancurd skin ingredients. I ordered the soup version, their soup is very tasty, not too salty despite adding the ingredients. However I find their deep fried ingredient a little too deep fried as the colour is toward the darker shade of brown

However I find their deep fried ingredient a little too deep fried as the colour is toward the darker shade of brown. But nevertheless the ingredients tasted really good and fresh. Their chilli dip is really good, not too hot as well. the sweet sauce is a little on the sweet side, but did go well with the non-fried ingredients as these ingredients are on the bland side.

One of the reasons why Meng Kee is so popular is because you can find unique Yong Tau Foo which are made by the stall owner. For those who like fried food, you may like to try the fried wan tan and fried vegetable ball (I think it is made of flour and bits of vegetable). As for those who prefer something healither, you can choose the chili pork ball (I think it is made of flour, minced pork and chili) and steam wan tan.As each piece of Yong Tau Foo is only $0.40 and is very delicious, I will str

Meng Kee yong tau foo stall located at Raffles Place Golden Shoe tastes really good and there is always a long queue during lunch every day. No minimum pieces for purchase are required, which I really like about as I am not a huge eater. I ordered the dry bee hoon with a few pieces which costs $2.50. Really cheap and good meal.
