It was a nice dinner at Modesto's as we got a table outside facing Sentosa, which was pleasant. The food was good too! We ordered the Chicken Sausage pizza. This was awesome! i brought my girlfriend to modesto for lunch, we love their restaurant layout where it was alfesco style seating. I like their Caesar salad, it was so refreshing. the vegetables were so fresh and crunchy. the dressing was to die for. the service was really good and we did not have to wait long for our food to be served.

I liked the food from Modesto's. They serve really good pizzas but I was craving for spaghetti so I skipped the pizza. The spaghetti is really good and I really liked the strong taste of garlic and chilli. The serving is big and the place is also very comfortable. A good place to dine in!

I like its al fresco area and dining by the sea, of course I like their pizzas too. The birthday girl and I shared a large beef bolognese pizza. It was really tasty and succulent, the beef added full flavor to the pizza, superb. The important part was that their pizzas are of thin crust!

Modesto's also gave us a complimentary birthday tiramisu. That's really great customer service.

I was keen to try the pizza at Modesto's as it has been promoting its pizza as the traditional italian wood-fired pizza. We had the set for two at $48 net. This includes an appetizer, 2 main courses and a dessert. We chose cesar salad, spaghetti alla carbonara, amatriciana pizza and tiramisu. All the servings were huge and we were full at the end of the salad and the pizza. We thought that the set menu for two could have easily served 4 people. The cesar salad was not bad. The cesar salad was not bad. The pizza was good. However, the pasta is disappointing. It's bland. The tiramisu was also very disappointing. It is more like a block of cream.

I would probably go back again, but only for the pizza.

To celebrate my SO's birthday, both of us decided to drop by to Modesco at Vivocity to dine.

Was attracted to their huge menus and great prices.

Ordered their $48 dinner set menu dinner for 2 which comes with a soup, 2 mains and dessert of choice.

We started off with a complimentary bread basket with bread and a dip of olive oil and vinegar. My SO loved the vinegar dip so much, he finished the entire dish.

Secondly, our soup came.
Large bowl of thick, rich, chunky soup! Loves the beans, vegetable bits so very much. The staff were so nice and took the initiative to ask if we wanted to separate the soup into two smaller bowls for us!

Next came the pizza, which was huge.

I can't quite remember the exact name of the pizza we ordered since it was all in italian, however, it was some along the line of lime/lemon shrimp pizza or something. The portion is just stunning and though it might not quite show in the pictures, the closest equivalent of the diameter of the pizza would be from your fingers to your elbows.

Was very disappointed with this pizza since they really do have some other great pizzas. The shrimp tasted stale ( not fresh at all)
but i loved the crust and pizza sauce to bits! Modesco's Italian Wood-fired Pizzas are made traditionally and it’s thin crusted pizzas are to die for. I loved its cheese and sauce although the shrimps were very very disappointing. I was already 3/4 full when in realised we had another main course coming up.

Thirdly, our Linguine Vongole came. I loved this pasta although i can't say much for its sandy clams. Apart from being slightly salty, i loved the spice in this dish and the overall taste of the linguine.

Finally, just went we thought it was over, our HUGE tiramisu came! This was my first tiime ever tasting tiramisu, and i found it to be very light (dissolves almost instantly in your mouth). However, I have learnt that it was supposed to come with Mascarpone cheese? The 'cheese' that came with it however, was definitely more cream than cheese though.

Its a great place to bring your date to especially when the Resorts world has been fully built since the restaurant overlooks a gorgeous sea view of sentosa resorts world. Its worth the buck for its huge portions and good food. The staff were also very attentive (although it might be because we were the one customers, LOL) helpful and were very initiative.

Overall, had a great time, apart from the stale shrimps. Would definitely be back!

Heard from friends that Modesto's have got money-worthy pizzas so we thought, "why not?". My partner and I gave it a shot after evening church service in the area. The reliable words came reliable, indeed it was a satisfying dinner. What more was that they had(and have) this ongoing promotion for $48 net for 2, which you'll get a starter(soup or salad), 2 main courses(selected pizzas and pastas) and a dessert to complete a dinner. We ordered a caesar salad, bacon and cheese flavoured pizza, carbonara and tiramisu. All those were also accompanied with complimentary bread and butter/olive oil/vinegar(usual restaurant thing, y'know). But wow, mind you, their servings are huge. Generous. I'd warn that the tiramisu is 4 times the size of what you'd get at regular bakeries. Salad came in a large dish too. The bacon and cheese pizza was good as it is thin-crust so it didn't feel so junky. The cheese melts in your mouth and bacon meat had its flavor. Carbonara pasta however, had too much whipping cream in it, causing it to have a over-sinful feel. Nevertheless, I personally liked the tiramisu best as it wasn't too sweet and retained its rum fragrant.

Don't mind going back to Modesto's again. Good service, helpful and efficient staff who kept a smile on them. A pity that 2 of us couldn't finish all the food though. Perhaps 3 average-portion eaters would be more ideal.
