currently our favourite place for buns. the size is generous. the filling is very good and well balanced. not too sweet or salty. their char siew buns are very very good. there is hardly any fatty meat, and the sauce is great. not bright red and fake or dry. it is very moist. the pastry also holds up well to dampness and steam. service is very friendly and helpful. costs about $1.50

love the yam buns here. the paste is very homemade and very slightly chunky, which is great! i don't like my yam paste too sticky or smooth. some texture is good. the pastry is nice and fluffy and freshly made on the spot. the staff is always polite and friendly. these buns are one of the best in singapore because they are so fresh and just like home made. and reasonable pricing and generous portion. costs about $1.50

It is not an uncommon sight but it sure is tough to find a nice smelling and moist, flavourful and yet very tender meat pau packed in a such a small size. One bite and you will know you made the right choice. The meat is very fragrant and the hot, wet sauce is tasty enough to make you droll for more.
